Bump for Tuesday. Anyone else going?
I don't really know, while Lord of the Rings in theater is amazing, I'm not sure if I'm willing to shell out $12 to watch it again.
At least see Return.
i dont know why people like theatres so much i'd rather just play the discs right here at my computer infact I did just a few months ago
You have my post!
I've been planning on going to these with a friend or about a month and a half now.
I haven't seen any of the films yet, worth doing?
how can you live on earth and not see these movies
how can you live on earth and not see these movies
Like this: :c00l: I might go see these since I've never seen them. Good thing I waited!
I feel quite disappointed at that. The trilogy could be easily read in a week and you get just the first part as summer reading? :colbert:
What kind of wizard are you? Maybe I could finish the trilogy in a week barely. And I consider myself a pretty fast reader, too.
You could finish the books that fast but I doubt you'll absorb most of the details.
And I just began reading the first book 2 hours ago. Okay...
Where can I get this so I can wear it to the theater?
Please don't
Please don't
Oh, you already bought one? I'm jealous.
Good. Now hop across the pond and show us Brits some lovin' :colbert:
havent seen the first two in theaters. I hope they play the extended versions though.
Damn, gonna try to watch this today, so excited now.
havent seen the first two in theaters. I hope they play the extended versions though.
If you read it, it specifically says that it's the extended versions.
its 12.50 per ticket at my movie theater what the hell are they thinking?!
Aw man, forgot about this :smith: At least I'll be able to remember Two Towers on the 21st.
Went to see it today, was fucking amazing. Literally had tears in my eyes during some sections (wasn't my first time seeing it, just really love the movies).
Just got back, I loved it. Everyone acted like it was a screening of the Passion of the Christ, completely quiet even when it ended, no one clapped, just sat through the credits in silence. I was a bit afraid that some dumbass kid would go in with his friends and ruin it for everyone but I was surprised. [editline]14th June 2011[/editline]
its 12.50 per ticket at my movie theater what the hell are they thinking?!
I think it's worth it for the experience, even if you've seen it before in the theaters.
Was there an introduction by Peter Jackson?
Was there an introduction by Peter Jackson?
Yeah there was but I missed most of it because the audio stopped working in the theater, only heard him tell us to enjoy the movie and etc.
