Similes are banned, how are they going to teach English???
They have to get approval from the headteacher to go off of school property.
How is "extra" used as a slang word?
Fuckin' bare peak tryina ban dem word tings yeah! But seriously using the word 'bare' as 'loads of' or 'a lot' is fun. My parents have started doing it :v:

british slang will never cease to amuse me.
Can we ban the use of "anti-clockwise" instead. It's counter clockwise dammit.

I don't agree with this but jesus fuck you guys it depends on the context. There isn't a blanket ban on these words, its just when used as slang, so a sentence saying: "It was so cold that I felt bare." is fine, but a sentence like "Yo fam I heard Shaniqua is bare up for it tonight bruv" wouldn't be
Aren't the words "extra, basically, yeah, and like" used everday?
yeah
Can we ban the use of "anti-clockwise" instead. It's counter clockwise dammit.
Basically the same thing, innit
Can we ban the use of "anti-clockwise" instead. It's counter clockwise dammit.
Fuck off oppressing our culture???
Can we ban swag?
Lol people getting angry at a language evolving, slang terms are extremely popular the first few years they're around and then slowly fade out. Just look at innit, people all over the country used to use it and now it's only found in London or from the mouths of crazily chavvy people. I can just imagine the Middle English school announcing to its students: "Ye art Forbiddenne to use þe Formalle or Pluralle 'you' instead of þe Correct and Informalle þe whilst Talking to your Companionnse. Any fownd doing so wille be Expell'd." See how well that went.
Fuck off oppressing our culture???
?????????????
schools get their panties bunched over smileys and slang, saying someone will write themon a resume. but really if you write 'lol' on a resume you are just really dumb. you deserve to starve to death
To me those don't even seem like slang terms, just regular words with an accent
Fuck off oppressing our culture???
I swear tah god, I'll shank yah, yah fuckin' Tory.
well i guess discussing preferred gum brands is out of the question now
"Basically" is slang?
"Basically" is slang?
the emphasis on the B makes it work..
The use of filler words either means a lacking vocabulary or optionally intelligence. Some smart people and experienced talkers add alot of "uhhs" and filler words so they can plan their words more carefully.
Once again, the more I hear about London, the more I don't want to go there.
I use 'like' all the time in the context they're indicating, I'd be p fucked
So Basically wot I woz saying woz:
