it was only a matter of time, That which uses or can use a digital medium is going to be purely digital with very few physical copies in the near future

I still go to Blockbuster all the time. It's pretty annoying having to wait two days for Netflix when you want to watch a movie right then and there. Kinda sucks they're going down.

Which is a shame....I preferred Hollywood Video to Blockbuster...

A few Aussie ones have closed down in the past few years but they seem to be just selling Corporate Stores to franchisees..

I got a bunch of DVDs for less than $5 when my Blockbuster closed. Blu-rays and games were going cheap too. I love liquidation sales.
