At the end of the day, there is no harm in having this petition. If anything, it will help to reinforce the need for a good PC port as it highlights just how many people are going to be watching closely.

I would like to see a simultaneous PC/Wii U release at some point even though that's pretty unlikely.

That just annoys everyone because the game is delayed on all platforms, whereas if you delay it only on PC by 6 months, you annoy the smallest target audience.
