Hopefully they sell Monkey Island to Telltale. I can't really see them attempting to milk it, it's not that famous or anything.

Jedi Outcast: Jedi Knight II had an amazing story
The Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series had a fucked up naming system.
Dark Forces
Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight
Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast
Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
Fuck, stick to a naming convention.
I want a Jedi Academy 2.

I would have posted the "Why don't we have both" picture in the first place, but I'd rather not get banned for image macros :v:
Am I the only one who doesn't really care that Disney bought out LucasArts?
I mean, LucasArts hasn't exactly been making hit movies and games as of late.
Any and all chances of Grim Fandango 2, rest in peace.
Well we already got this abomination :

I remember a while ago people didn't believe me when I said angry birds was going to be milked.
Well, I'm worried that Disney's buyout would mean an uncontrolled MONOPOLY!
You don't see Warner Bros and Universal go around buying media franchise all the time.

Dude, what the fuck is the big deal about Angry Birds? No, seriously. It's a game where you launch birds into shit. There's not much to it.
It's designed to appeal to children, that's why it's so popular.
If the kids love it, it gets big, regardless of if it's good or not.

No it's designed to be a simple on-the-go or on-the-toilet game, and it's decent at it.
Disney bought several game companies before and Disney 'did not agreed with their strategys' for the game development and so they were canceled or the project was somehow converted to a different setting.
Epic Mickey for example, after it was 'reviewed' by Disney they had to change the entire concept to be more kid friendly. According to wiki they were on the edge of being cancelled
This was Epic Mickey before the Disney review

It was meant to be a much more mature Disney game, honestly it would swing Disney into a good direction since they could draw more audience, [del]the only mature Disney i know is Kingdom Hearts[/del] Kingdom Hearts is the closest 'mature' game that Disney has and that was also reviewed by Disney
That's a bit disturbing if you're expecting the general Mickey Mouse stuff, but looks very interesting.
Isn't 'The Force Unleashed' part of the JK/DF series?
Isn't 'The Force Unleashed' part of the JK/DF series?
Not in the slightest. The only similarity between the two is that you wield a lightsaber. Even the force powers are different between the two series'.

I don't know man but this seriously looks fucking awesome
From the wikipedia page:
"While being developed in-house by LucasArts, the game is undergoing an integrated development approach that involves Industrial Light & Magic, Lucasfilm Animation and Skywalker Sound."
Thats like all the mayor development studios who worked on the Star Wars movies. Holy fuck please in fucks name don't change ANYTHING about this game
not really? its exactly what he said it was, chest high wall bullshit. i don't care what studios are working on it unless there's something promising to be worked on in the first place

Honestly I don't know what everyone sees in this game, clumsy combat mechanics, bad voice overs and an unremarkable story.

Not bad for 2003

One could say the same for, say, Deus Ex (Well for the voice-over part at least). And yet it was one of the best game of its time.
Not to mention there were several good mods for JK3 (Movie Battles, for example).

Something I'd love to see the comeback of would be Rogue Squadron. This series is very good.

That's fucking crazy how Uncharted it looks. If you took a star wars theme and copied it to Uncharted's engine, you would have this game.

To be honest, the Uncharted games were great, so its not a bad thing in my opinion.

This, I kind of always wanted an Uncharted-style game that took place in the Star Wars universe.

The multiplayer was fun as hell.
Nobody gave a shit about the singleplayer, it wasn't even that long.
