None of you have evidence beyond past abuses. Intel has pretty much been kicked out of the next generation of consoles. Hell, they're not even heavily involved since their the CPU manufacturer. They make chips that just answer with 1s and 0s at the most basic level.
And anytime PC gaming comes up, most of you lose the ability to use logical reasoning.

I don't see how they were "kicked out", current gen consoles didn't use intel CPU's either.

Yeah, but now AMD is really putting the pressure on them and Intel can feel it.

It's not like they manufacture processors for most android phones and laptops. Oh and Macs.
AMD's dominance of 3 gaming systems is minuscule compared to that.
Intel is drowning in money, there's not much AMD can do to affect that.
I don't know why Microsoft decided to make the Halo sequels console-only for so long.
Because it gives people an incentive to buy an Xbox.
That's the entire point of having console exclusives.
Microsoft makes no money off PC games sales, whereas they make money off of virtually any Xbox related purchase whether it is a system, game, DLC, controller, whatever.
To be honest I'm not even sure whether it would be a bad thing if MS took a percentage from AAA titles of windows games. Even if I had to pay like, 5 bucks more.

Actually, people are using AMD processors on PCs more and more. And with the most recent developments, going AMD Processor and Graphics Card is the smartest way to go.

AMD processors are great for the 3 seconds before they fall apart
wouldn't it make sense just to say they're going to release it alongside the xbone and ps4 versions, so that it gets all the improvements those have over the current generation as well?

AMD is trying their best to be competitive but Intel really has them beat in efficiency.
And while AMD is extremely competitive with Nvidia, moreso than with Intel I'd say, AMD has a ways to go before I could actually say they're better than Nvidia.

The hell did you do to it? Mine typically last long enough that I build a new PC (about every 5 years) before it dies, and it's continuously in use.

dude what, Intel has never had such a huge gap over AMD in market share as it does now, the PC industry is mostly Intel more than ever
AMD processors are great for the 3 seconds before they fall apart
This is why I don't use AMD any more and haven't in quite a time. I've had a part fail within just a few weeks of it being in without doing anything even that intensive. AMD has always given me reliability problems.
