No, but I'm not saying that. Things have become so partisan that each successive president is going to work to undo the last. From a conservative's point of view, it's a beautiful thing what Trump is doing; from a liberal point of view, it's a monstrosity what he's doing. When Democrats take control, it's going to just become a neverending cycle of partisanship where nothing gets done unless one party has full control of the government (which Republicans still feel to accomplish things).
Trump's actually so bad that Republicans are disagreeing with him now. There is very little actually unifying the GOP, after obama left office they no longer have a boogeyman to unify around.
We are winning so hard right now. What a great deal maker
i sincerely hope everyone who was involved in propagating the idea that climate change is not a serious threat and actively worked against it are tried as criminals
Isn't this a click bait, misleading title? Nothing has actually been done yet. Planning to pull out and pulling out are two different things.
It's stuff like this that makes me wish we could have this administration thrown into a volcano. It'd be a far better use of it than fucking over the world in the long term.
With our luck so far, the sudden influx of bullshit entering the caldera would cause some sort of catastrophic eruption. The administration wouldn't even be able to handle being thrown into a volcano properly.

My hope is that this trump regime inspires a new wave of pro-democracy, intellectual and scientific movements.
My hope is that this trump regime inspires a new wave of pro-democracy, intellectual and scientific movements.
That's my hope too, yet I'm not sure it'll happen, at least as prominently as I'd like. Most of Trump's controversy comes from his ideas and policies regarding social issues like race, religion, and sexuality; thus why he was frequently compared to a Nazi during and after the election. When the pendulum inevitably swings back around, I'm expecting social issues to take forefront ( see: identity politics, etc. ), as many other issues are simply placed on the backburner.
Nobody is going to sanction the United States. Be realistic.
if he starts sanctioning germany, the EU will certainly fight back with carbon taxes
You're right mitt, cockwaving certainly takes priority
If America striving to be the world leader in renewable energy tech is what it takes, then I'm all on board whatever flailing schlong it is...
I think it's fair to say your "average" news absorbing American will watch some Fox News at this point unfortunately so I'd just like to point this out. Over at the Trump-Dick-Sucking-Network the current headline for this is, verbatim: "Democrats Melt Down As Trump Prepares To Withdraw From Paris Climate Change Deal." It's disgusting, really. I'd wager a lot of people don't even know a good deal about the agreement in the first place, and this is how they are going to be introduced to it. I used to think America would be so much better off without Republicans constantly trying to drudge us back into the 50's, but now it seems our cockroaches are set to cause literal world changing repercussions as long they get to make money and BTFO the libtards.
Nobody is going to sanction the United States. Be realistic.
Not sanction, but a carbon tax on exports to any Paris Agreement nation.

[del]Hey Mitt, trying to abandon the renewable energy industry is not going to make us a "global leader" in energy, it's going to make us non-competitive while we're forced to buy our solar panels and wind turbines from China and Europe. In fact I think we may have already missed our chance to be a global leader, but if we start trying now, we'll at least remain highly competitive.[/del]
