an analogy for life.
Such realism for a fantasy rpg :v:
I agreed with everything they said but I had a hard time understand what they were saying in one part. Tomaszkiewicz says "I didn't like the (?). I tried to list 5 (?) and I couldn't."
As a witcher fan i was concerned that an open world witcher would make it too much like TES, so i'm glad to hear they recognize some of the faults in those games. The only problem they didn't address was bugginess but seeing as they aren't Bethesda they already got that point covered by default. I couldn't name one. I wonder if I could name 5 characters, I spent something like 200 hours in that game. Brynjolf Jarl Balgruuf Jarl Stormcloak General Tulius M'aiq the Liar Yay! Unfortunately, that's all I got other than Alduin because I can see dozens of faces in my head but I can't remember any of their names.
Also Skyrim fanboys getting mad here http://i.imgur.com/UMDSBR6.jpg
Pubic opinion will always be on Bethesda's side.
M'aiq the Liar does not count
Do Aedra and Daedra count?
How 2 fix Bethdesa: Fire Tim Howard and the arts department
How 2 fix Bethdesa: Fire everyone
Fixed that up for you
I got it. Brynjolf Jarl Balgruuf Jarl Stormcloak General Tulius & Delvin Malory Now give me my medal.
Fuck yes, thanks for standing up to that BS. I really need to play the witcher games, seeing as the developers actually have good taste and understanding.
So we hate Skyrim now? I can't keep up with Facepunch anymore
I still like it so fuck them but sadly gets a shameful [sp]8 out of 10[/sp] regardless from me [editline]18th February 2013[/editline]
How 2 fix Bethdesa: Fire Tim Howard and the arts department
the art was amazing, its not the art that's the issue, its the people actually working on the game [thumb]http://cache.kotaku.com/assets/images/9/2011/11/35524f4b1b5de1fb522d07aa2aebc9b0.jpg[/thumb][thumb]http://cache.kotaku.com/assets/images/9/2011/09/175663_496613506403_131368351403_6226548_1735883_o.jpg[/thumb][thumb]http://images5.fanpop.com/image/photos/28200000/Markarth-Castle-Exterior-Concept-Art-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-28215363-1600-1150.jpg[/thumb][thumb]http://images5.fanpop.com/image/photos/28200000/Word-Wall-Concept-Art-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-28215463-1597-1200.jpg[/thumb][thumb]http://www.geforce.com/Active/en_US/shared/images/video_thumbnail/TESVSkyrim_Pod1Concept_US_forTranscode_1.png[/thumb]
So we hate Skyrim now? I can't keep up with Facepunch anymore
I like to think that we can both enjoy a game and be honest about its shortcomings.
I got it. Brynjolf Jarl Balgruuf Jarl Stormcloak General Tulius & Delvin Malory Now give me my medal.
Not Paarthurnax? When I hear "name a character from Skyrim", he's the first my mind always goes to.
I would almost go to say that the Dark Brotherhood story in Skyrim beats out the DB story in Oblivion.
yeah man those 3 people you had to assassinate was so much fun seriously saying the skyrim DB was better than the oblivion DB is like saying the retarded, younger cousin is smarter than the older cousin in oblivion, the DB quests were actually unique. each assignment brought a fun reward while having an equally fun experience the best part of the skyrim DB was where you are a cook and thats it even oblivions DB storyline in general is better. skyrim's is just stupid and doesnt make any sense
the art was amazing, its not the art that's the issue, its the people actually working on the game
cool landscape with budget movie sets, yep might as well play the game with film grain and grindhouse gore
Not Paarthurnax? When I hear "name a character from Skyrim", he's the first my mind always goes to.
I wasn't counting aedra, daedra, or other non-mortals.
Holy shit. Is that Geralt with a beard?! Now I'm even more excited.
cool landscape with budget movie sets, yep might as well play the game with film grain and grindhouse gore
you aren't even making any sense did you even play the game or read into it at all? because you sound like "A sales reject orbits past the drill. The frequent fuss smells near the archaic incentive. The coverage pops around the paperback wrapper." to me.
Implying the witcher is better than skyrim.
Implying the witcher is better than skyrim.
Sentence fragments too.
i played witcher 2 once and it was abysmal
I have to disagree with them on saying the character writing in Skyrim was bad. There were A LOT of characters. A lot were not really fully fleshed out but that's understandable, if a character had any prominence tot he story of a guild arc or the main arc, they were very memorable. The badly written characters were minor insignificant characters.
I don't recall a single good skyrim character or any good human characters in any bethsoft/obsidian game that aren't companions
CDProject makes constructive criticism about Skyrim and fan boys gets mad, how thick skinned people have to be to be upset about this, Skyrim had many flaws and people constantly pointed out different elements that degraded the series since Morrowind, will it be quest markers or very simplified dialogues. The only thing that was making me feel somewhat immersed in Skyrim was probably pretty environment vistas and music plus the sense of exploration, climbing the tall mountain peaks and such, everything else was really breaking that (the moment I saw Jarl Balgruuf I thought he looked retarded and was unlikable) not to mention sudden weird bugs, many times hilarious ones at that. I had this feeling that Skyrim was trying hard, great plus for the fact that Bethesda supports mods which allow many changes in graphics, fixing bugs or improving performance and gameplay elements and they let there fans fix the game for them.
i played witcher 2 once and it was abysmal
But... But how?
I don't recall a single good skyrim character or any good characters in any bethsoft/obsidian game that aren't companions or not humans
There are tons of good non-human characters in NV. God & Dog, Dean Domino, Tabitha, Marcus, Neil, Yes Man, and Everybody in the Sink including Mobius, Dala, 0, 8, Borous, and Mobius.
But... But how?
it was very difficult i had to download all sorts of patches, and then there was like a million graphics options, which none of them mattered because the game looked hideous anyway
it was very difficult i had to download all sorts of patches, and then there was like a million graphics options, which none of them mattered because the game looked hideous anyway
it's a bit of a hassle to get into but once you do it's pretty rewarding
you have to sit down and play with yourself everytime you want to use a potion
it was very difficult i had to download all sorts of patches, and then there was like a million graphics options, which none of them mattered because the game looked hideous anyway
now you're just trolling
