Did anybody see that small piece of flame falling off the rocket around 30 seconds in?

Visible from Norfolk, VA.
That was cool
VA Beach here, quite the view as you can agree.
It ascended very quickly. I saw an orange streak behind the trees, then it shot above them and burned east.
I just came across this thread 10 minutes ago and didn't get out of my dorm room quick enough to catch it
Fuck you college
Couldn't see it through the trees by my house, oh well. Maybe another time.
Fuck me I'm right under D.C. and I missed the launch.
:(

Wonder how many people see that and think it's a UFO/Meteor/terrorists/plane crash.
Aw man, why couldn't I have heard about this sooner? It would've been awesome to see a launch, even from a distance.
Maybe one day, but with the way space related things seem to be going, probably not.
i was watching the launch with some guy who actually works for orbital... needless to say i am envious of his job..

September 17.
Orbital Sciences Antares launch Cygnus to the ISS.
It will be a bigger rocket than this, launched at the same base.

LADEE is on its way to the Moon. 30 day flight.
Happened to be visiting my grandmother who lives about 100 miles from the launch site this week. Was really cool to watch live!
Well that was pretty cool.
Saw the second stage ignition and cutoff and the third ignition from my front lawn! One of the coolest things I've ever seen!
I live in NC (in about the 10 degree line) and the view from the top of my house was pretty amazing. The glow was fairly visible, and probably one of the coolest things I've seen in a while.
Looking forward to the 17th.
