Just finished my college paper on drone strikes- it should also be mentioned that whenever you hear the words "Enemy Combatant" that does NOT mean that they are confirmed to have weapons, be in any known terrorist organization, or even have ill-will towards the U.S. The only thing that determines if someone killed is an Enemy Combatant is if they are over the age of 18. When coupled with the fact that many of the strikes are done in residential areas, like the strike that slaughtered a group of civilians that were having a shura to work out a mining disagreement, it means that 42 "Enemy Combatants" were killed, but only 4 of them were actually bad guys.
