what do you use for animal testing in a world of animals and don't forget about carnivores
I'd imagine that they would use animals that hadn't yet evolved and instead remained "uncivilized", like how civilized apes aka the human race would use a bunch of different other animals for their own needs. Also, I always thought it was kinda odd how they referred to the two groups in the movie as prey and predator when the concept of prey and predators in real life is more of a hierarchy thing where animals eat animals that eat other animals than just two types of animals.

Likewise, many herbivores can eat meat if given the chance. Deer can eat birds, rabbits will eat a nest of baby mice, etc. But it's a film for children and it gets its point across fine without being condescending or plagued by cringey humor.
