I am curious as to what the deleted scenes are, but I dunno if I'll go see it again just for that. Maybe, but maybe not.
You guys, seriously, look at the storyline. How is it NOT Pocahontas?
I don't think anyone said it wasn't.

damnit ninja'd
They should just release a new bluray with the extra footage.
no one is saying it's not

Agree x 7 Disagree x 7
Just wondering.
Meh. Am I the only one who thinks this movie is really overrated?
Isn't that the objective of every filmmaker? Create a film to which it becomes talked-about everywhere to the point of annoyance? I could have sworn that Titanic had achieved this and Star Wars.

Star Wars was actually good. Interesting and original story-line, full of content and really cool effects.
You can't possibly compare it to Avatar, and I don't think it's overrated (perhaps the new movies are).
The movie was really overrated, I mean I saw it in 3D and it was pretty cool but nothing 'really awesome'.
Meh. Am I the only one who thinks this movie is really overrated?
You aren't alone. Story-telling was on par with a 5 year old's bedtime story.
As much as I loathe this movie, I can always look at it in a brighter light and say, "Hey, at least it wasn't Avatar (the last airbender)!"
Meh. Am I the only one who thinks this movie is really overrated?
It was indeed overrated, way to much hype and media attention. Though it wasn't a terrible movie, it was actually pretty good if you didn't listen to the hype, all the media attention and bandwagon hate.
I though it was a good movie, but not the greatest. Though I did love the visuals, specially on Blu-ray. Very vivid.
Avatar was a fucking tragedy. Special effects were cool though.

That's just your opinion. I think that every Star Wars movie is ridiculously boring.
I understand that it was a big deal at the time it came out, because well, it came out 35 years ago or so. Personally I didn't understand what all the fuss is about with that movie when I first saw it and I still don't.
Despite it's ability to make outrageous amonts of money and entertain most people, it obviously doesn't have as much of a lasting impact on cinema as a whole as one might expect. The majority of filmmakers are still treating 3D the same way they did in its past 7(?) lives and there have been much less sucessful movies that had evolved into enormous franchises and cultural icons. Nobody aside from James Cameron himself seems to be trying to push Avatar any futher than it already is. Even the most hardcore fans seem to have moved on.
James Cameron is probably trying to extend his time in the spotlight as long as possible.
I didn't see it at the cinema the first time round, and I won't see it the second time round. Watched it on DVD, really quite meh, I've seen so much better from recent films.
So much bandwagon in this thread it's ridiculous, It's not as bad of a movie as everyone's making it out to be
Do you people realize just how genius this idea was? Do you know how much fucking money they're going to make? This is one of the smartest moves I have ever seen pulled by anyone to make money.
It appears that having a negative opinion is now called "band-wagoning". Genius.
Any time a bunch of people agree on something some asshole comes in and accuses everyone of bandwagoning. If you ask me these people are more fucking obnoxious than the people who actually do bandwagon.
They need to put the Dark Knight back in theaters.
They need to put the Dark Knight back in theaters.
In 3D?
I don't get why people say it's bad.
Fanbase? Yeah, bad. But other movies with fanbases can be embarrassingly bad (Remember STAR WARS KID? Yeah)
But the movie isn't bad. It's not Jesus Christ, but it's good.
I'll probably see it again. I thought it was a pretty good movie, and I can't afford a nice shiny 3D TV, so I don't see the issue with seeing it again in 3D.
Something is popular?!? Quick! Be a rebel and fight against it!
Movies arn't surpose to come back to theaters inless it's a recreation of it. Just fucking shows the people who made it just want money.
This is such a shit movie. I'm serious. Watched it half way, got bored and left the theater. It's just Pocahontas with aliens.
the last hour is the best part.
burning the shit out of the tree then massive air battles shit was glorious.
Navi sex scene will probably be included, but it won't be graphic.
After all, James Cameron needs more money and needs to rake in every fucking PG-13 rated dollar.

Oh yeah? Is there a law against it?
It's simple supply-demand.
The demand seems to be very high for the movie to be brought back to theaters, seeing how people now realize that it's shit on DVD/BluRay when compared to the 3D version.
People like me are willing to drop $10 to watch it again and live through the experience once more. You might not be, but it doesn't make it illegal or unethical to bring it back.
well then re-release it in adult form
I can understand people don't like the sound of this, but I think the movie wasn't that bad at all, some parts we're enjoyable.
But I've seen better that's all.
It's just Pocahontas with aliens.
nice bandwagon quote
