don't get me wrong, i love mexican food, homecooked especially, but its a food based around a culture of "what is this animal? is it edible? ok put all the lard and fry the fuck out of it, and put all that green stuff on it too"
sounds good to me
oh no EVIL PRESERVATIVES AND CHEMICALS!!1111
the fact that this is serious shows how bad American diet is
Plus, all their burritos look like puke/shit inside.
Hey, they all come out the same.
You've never had a good burrito then.

But meh, it's your body, if you enjoy being overweight and developing cancer, more power to you.
Cogratz on finding a burrito that was posed to look good
Really, if you care about the inside of your burrito looking presentable you really need to reconsider your priorities
Hey, they all come out the same.
It might all come out the same, but your arteries don't.
You've never had a good burrito then.

Pretty much all burritos are pretty awful for you. Most large tortillas are 200 calories by themselves.

It looks like shit because it's filled with shit that isn't real meat, for fuck's sake.
I like how you assume by stating that fast food isn't somehow magically more harmful = encouraging eating it all the time. Even though I literally never said that. I even specifically stated that fast food is energy dense and easy to overeat.
My point is that calories, macronutrients, and micronutrients are what matter. Those EVIL PRESERVATIVE AND CHEMICALS are either mundane things like salt and sugar, proven to be safe, or not even metabolized by your body.
Also of course the inside of a burrito looks like puke, it's a fucking burrito. All of them look that way. What do you honestly expect it to look like?
Besides, it's pretty meaningless to judge a food by how aesthetically appealing it is.
every burrito I've gotten at a food truck looks like it actually has food inside of it instead of the scrapings of baby diapers and cat vomit you get at tex-mex fast food restaurants

wow dori, a new low

Are you a nutritionist? Eating fast food, once, several times, or everyday, is bad for you, plain and simple.
Who cares? After they discontinued the chili cheese burrito, I never came back.
Wait what. When was this? I had one a few weeks ago.
Eating Taco Bell occasionally isn't going to give you digestive & weight problems, those problems would come from eating it daily or even weekly, which you should never do with heavily processed foods.
Also good job using a stock image lol.
I made this last week for breakfast and it doesn't look like shit. Taco bell always looks like shit.
[t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/burrito1.jpg[/t]
I'm not sure why you're expecting fast food to look aesthetically appealing or having a quality texture or whatever, that was never my point anyway so uh...
That looks pretty shitty on the inside, not as shitty as a taco bell burrito but still, the only thing that looks like actual meat in that is the bacon, that is bacon right?
It's turkey bacon. I can do without the excess sodium. Eggs, potatoes, a little salsa verde, and a small amount of cheddar cheese.

Your point was that it wasn't unhealthy:
why do you people seem to think fast food is just somehow completely unhealthy ???
It's not like there's MAGICAL UNHEALTHINESS ATOMS coating the damn thing; Calories are calories, and macros are macros.
The main problem with fast food is that it's energy dense and easy to overeat.
And it is unhealthy.
I made this last week for breakfast and it doesn't look like shit. Taco bell always looks like shit.

I bet it didn't take you 3 minutes from deciding you want it to eating it.
Fast food is called fast for a reason, and there are tradeoffs. Saying it's unhealthy is like laughing at a semi truck because it can't accelerate as fast as a sports car. No fucking shit.

...we're on the same side here. This dip was saying that fast food isn't unhealthy.

Wait
Fuck
I think I'm on your side of the argument here. But you're kinda making it sound like one bite and suddenly you have cancer and diabetes
Your point was that it wasn't unhealthy:
And it is unhealthy.
Mind explaining to me why calories, protein, saturated and unsaturated fat, carbohydrates, fiber, sodium, and vitamins from fast food is somehow any more unhealthy than homemade food?
No, I'm not implying the taste or texture is better, or that it necessarily has a good balance of these nutrients. You seem to be fighting what you think I believe, and not what I actually said.
If you balance it into your nutrient needs, it's not any different.
Wait
Fuck
I think I'm on your side of the argument here. But you're kinda making it sound like one bite and suddenly you have cancer and diabetes
Where did I ever say that? Hell, I didn't even use the word cancer. All I ever said was that it looks like shit and is bad for you. I expressed that I don't want to ingest preservatives and chemicals, which are bad for you. It's called junk food for a reason.
It's not because of that stuff, it's because heavily processed food is packed full of preservatives and other chemical shit is bad for you.
I'm absolutely astonished that people are so comfortable pumping shit into their body that has been around for less than a decade or two without substantial human testing as it takes a LONG TIME. Most testing has been done on animals and is barely conclusive at best. These things take time to truly figure out, and I'm a-okay not being a guniea pig. Like I said, people are free to do what they want, but they should be aware that preservatives like BHT, BHA, Nitrates, BVO, Benzoic acid, etc. are not proven to be safe.

Because some people like the taste and don't give a fuck? I know I don't, so stop trying to ram it down other people's throats like you're superior to them.
It's not because of that stuff, it's because heavily processed food is packed full of preservatives and other chemical shit is bad for you.
like what
"PRESERVATIVES AND CHEMICALS" is a popular sensationalism-fueled media buzzword nowadays, so unless you have peer reviewed studies of actually fit and active people being negatively affected by these supposed things, then you're basically saying nothing.
Trans fats are an example of a preservative that's absolutely objectively horrible for you, but ascorbic acid, nisin, and conventional methods like salt and sugar are not.

I said that people are free to do as they please, it's not like I'm standing outside tacky bell picketing, I don't tell people walking in that they shouldn't. I just think it's dumb to ingest shit without doing research about it first.
Fast food isn't good for you
But it isn't half as bad as Aetna is making it out to be

How about doing a little googling, bro? Next you're going to be saying LiveStrong is a bad source.
...we're on the same side here. This dip was saying that fast food isn't unhealthy.
No, he's saying it's not going to outright kill you. It's not as healthy as traditional cooked food tends to be but it's all about tradeoffs. You're just being an asshole to everyone who disagrees with you.
Congrats, you're getting mad on the internet.
I think its been at least 2 years that I ate any Taco Bell.
Eeeugh..
Fast food isn't good for you

All I've said is it can cause people to become overweight and have digestive issues. I never said it'll give you cancer or kill you, just that it's bad and I wouldn't recommend eating it so casually. I'll eat fast food in a pinch, but I'd rather go snag a salad from a supermarket first.

What makes you think I'm mad....? It's not like I'm saying anything inaccurate, literally all I've said is that it looks like shit and is unhealthy. Also, judging by your ban history, you're not exactly one to talk about getting mad on the interwebs.
You're all up in arms about fast food. You don't seem to get that there are tradeoffs for fast food being fast.
The entirety of your posts in the first two pages are "holy shit Taco Bell looks like ass, has the texture of dog shit" and you rate everyone dumb for menial stuff.
