I like that craig's movies are more realistic visions of bond, not so many toys. However I really do miss the cars and their gadgets.. the "Vanish" was just fuckin' awesome in die another day.
no
They need to sign Martin Campbell to direct every single Bond movie from here on out, whatever it costs them. Both of this Bond films were fantastic.

Skyfall is a fucking masterpiece but its the sort of thing that loses its lustre if done over and over again. It did prove to naysayers however that Sam Mendes can definitely direct action. Which is a strange notion to me, that people think a good director isnt going to be good at directing - meanwhile if you're a retard whose been directing MTV music videos for most of your career, some hollywood exec thinks you'll be a prime pick for making an action film and then scratch their head when it doesn't work "what didn't you use enough explosions?? More ADHD editing???"
Wow there's really only 23 films? I've always neglected watching them all because I felt like it would take too long/be too much of a commitment, but I've already watched thousands more minutes of Star Trek. Might just start it from the beginning.
Some films are better than the others. Connery is pretty good, Lazenby is...okay, Moore has his moments, but his films are pretty much skippable, Dalton is good, Brosnan fucking rocks (apart from Die Another Day) and Craig is about equal to Brosnan in my book. Awesome. This guy is largely responsible for pulling the Bond franchise out of the schlock and cheese and into the realm of quality cinema.
Whilst Skyfall was a good movie, and perhaps even more like the books than most Bond movies, I still have a problem with it. It's more a Bourne movie than a Bond movie. I prefer over the top to realism though, considerably. There are plenty of other realistic movies out there. However I also liked Die Another Day and all the ridiculousness of Pierce Brosnan so just ignore me. [editline]12th July 2013[/editline] Great movie, okay Bond film. I am not keen on Sam Mendes directing again.
Skyfall wasn't that good at all. First film I've fallen asleep in. First bond film I've disliked.

He just acts more like the Bond from the books than any other bond yet I think. I mean yeah he may not look exactly like the Bond Ian Fleming imaged in his head but he makes up for it ten fold. I was a little iffy about him before I saw Casino Royale because I grew up watching the bond movies and I loved Connery and Brosnan the most but Daniel Craig just fits the role of James Bond directly from the books.

As an auto lover, I just wanted to see more of that glorious DB5.
Like the part [sp]where it gets blown up[/sp]?
