Disney announces a Star Wars crossover, this time Phineas and Ferb

I honestly think Robot Chicken did the best parody of starwars out of the lot of them.
A sci-fi franchise whose had a big track record for crossover parodies and whatnot meets a TV show that was decent, but my sister says lived past its due date when they had their TV movie and still went on.
Eh, doubt I'd see it anyways.
Man, I fucking hate Phineas and Ferb, but it's probably the best thing the Disney Channel has to offer these days.
[sp] And that's really fucking pathetic. [/sp]
gravity falls
If only it even mattered :(
This reminds me of the scene in A Clockwork Orange where Alex realizes the soundtrack behind the ultra-violent videos he is being forced to watch, is Beethoven. His favorite composer intertwined with horrible acts that would eventually make him ill when exposed to it.
It's insidious and in this case perfectly legal, though no one can be forced to watch it.
It feels like a betrayal. Even knowing that Disney is just a licence whore that gets all it's money from exploiting their various IP like this. I secretly hoped Star Wars could maintain some of it's dignity.
I lied to myself when the stupid angry bird crossover happened. It's just a fluke... but it wasn't.
I see the truth now and completely expect all the 2 year old safe pablum that was the "holiday special" and "droids" to become the new standard.
I'd honestly rather see the franchise die than to watch Disney change its depends.

Dude, it's not the end of the world. Star Wars can survive being milked, seeing as the people who enjoyed the actual flicks will most likely support those movies anyway. Star Wars has a legacy among people that Disney can't really budge.

That part ruined the whole movie.
Also it says they're just doing a parody episode, which has been overdone countless times regardless.
Honestly, nothing will be as bad as the Christmas special that features the original cast.

Slightly late, but GODDAMN that's some bad art style clashing going on there. If you're gonna have characters from another property in there, they might as well be a similar art style so they don't look horribly jarring and completely out of place as if someone photoshopped them in.
Reminds me of when they were blending random shit like Proud Family and the Lilo & Stitch animated series with literally anything they had sitting around.
[sp]Whoever can guess the most maligned crossover L&S had with an animated series running at the same time wins the knowledge that I'm groaning in annoyance upon reading their correct guess. No better prize, sorry, I'm strapped for cash.[/sp]
Well they haven't done a crossover with Gravity Falls yet
:suicide:
Neither of their anatomies make sense, Ferb is a tube with limbs and a nose.
Your avatar is a pony based from MLP, another cartoon, and you're complaining about anatomy?
Can't be anywhere as terrible as the christmas special star wars movie
Even reading about it on wikipedia is enough to melt your eyes
The world is a tough and angering place.
You are• now safe.
Be quiet.
Meditate on peace, only dreams, no need to be upset here.
Let your jimmies unrustle.

This show works great if you have insomnia. Probably the only show I have ever fell asleep to :v:
Well, while i'd rather this wasn't, atleast it wont be anything canon to the Star Wars universe. If you just dont watch it, it isn't too bad. I do hate it, but it could be FAR worse.
As much as I like Phineas and Ferb a whole movie parody sounds really unfunny.
It's the Family Guy Star Wars episode, but this time made by Disney. Oh well.
[editline]e[/editline]
Star Wars has been a milked series since the prequels and it's still pretty much going strong

Yeah, that was FAR worse than this is going to be.
automerge snip
At first I was kind of upset, but then I realized that I'm not going to watch it and I'll forget about it by dinner because it literally doesn't matter. I don't know why you guys are getting upset, as if this is the first show to ever affiliate with Star Wars in some manner.
phineas and ferb is awesome tbh hth
