Mass shootings to be completely prevented, victims cry in joy as Feinstein tells congress to take ac

Blaming everything but the criminal himself.
What if they managed to ban these video games or create even more regulations on them and more violent outbreaks happen afterwards? Are we allowed to create legislation that states that anyone behind or backing the idea that video games create violent criminals should never be listened to again, for ANY reason due to them having no clue what reality is?
The thing is she says video games play a negative roll for kids, but violent video games aren't
even targeted at kids.
We just need some good wholesome games to show them how they're wrong

WOW ,I remember seeing this a long time ago.

South Park make a very good point. Just replace Canada with video games and boom.
ban catcher in the rye
Okay so lets say this gets passed, somehow somewhere in some dimension. Activision, Valve, EA, Ubisoft, Naughty Dog, every big company out there has to limit their games to have no blood, less violence, ect.
What about all the countless indie devs and people who release mods? Are they going to track down a person who made a source mod and have the FBI break into his home because his game didn't have a quick-time hugging section? What about the developers not based in America? Are they going to say "sorry u ccan't sell these bad games here"???
I just cannot comprehend how stupid this person is. Does she think it's as easy as pressing a button that makes games less violent and suddenly there is no more gun violence?

Congress is full of old people who don't understand this stuff. They will all retire or die eventually.
I loved the shit out of Quake II when I was young and I don't see myself making shootouts at schools.
Wow she can't win on guns so she wants to regulate something else. Fuck off Feinstein. I hope she gets some weird cancer and is forced to retire. Freedom hating bitch that she is.
Normally I'm completely against voluntarily giving Republicans another Senate seat, but honestly, I'm cool with it if that means getting rid of Feinstein. She is a disgrace to the entire Democratic party, and fully embodies the "nanny government who wants to take things away from you" Democrat stereotype.
Hopefully we can depend on the Supreme Court to rule any regulation of games based on content to be a First Amendment violation.
Christ, lately it seems like the Supreme Court is our only hope of stopping Congress from doing horrifically stupid things.
the GOP candidates against her in california are some of the most ridiculous people in the world
unfortunately shes necessary, thats why shes always voted in
As a Californian I sadly have to agree, our politicians are shit, believe there are much worse than her.
lets give a psychopath an AR-15 with a 100 round magazine and send them to Feinsteins house.

Reminds me of something. Was watching Piers Morgan last night and Penn Jillette was on it. Piers, being Piers, brought up the gun debate out of nowhere saying his usual shit about how guns are evil and we can't focus on a topic without mentioning them for a minute. Penn basically called him out in a professional way explaining that gun restrictions won't do much and that comparing school shootings and gun crime rates is irrelevant data. Piers cut him off nearly every sentence. Came back from commercial and Piers told the audience that he had gotten Tweets about him cutting Penn off constantly and how the audience wanted it to stop. So then five minutes later Penn started speaking again and he got cut off, but whoops they were out of time see you next episode! Penn also mentioned how fictional violence has never been proven to cause real violence, but I can't remember at what point.
I honestly don't think guns, video games, movies, music, books, or anything like what I listed are the problem. It is the idiots running the government and news who seem to think that their opinion is the only true one and can't seem to accept that there could be more to fixing problems than just making bans and restrictions.
By the way can anyone find a video of the episode I'm referring to? I can only find the one about religion.
It's difficult to be more ridiculous and ignorant than Feinstein.
Also does she not realize a lot of game companies are based in Cali, and can move if the state becomes hostile towards them, which would put a huge dent in its already failing economy?
her opponents are usually against abortion and same-sex marriage
personally i find those a lot more important than videogames

Bad grammar there buddy. You don't put "more important than" in front of "videogames". It just doesn't work.
Flipping it around however, that works just fine.
(please don't kill me, I'm only joking)
I loved the shit out of Quake II when I was young and I don't see myself making shootouts at schools.
I spent my childhood commanding armies of fucking terrorists in command and conquer, and I haven't overthrown any governments. It might be time to start though; I'll need a new hobby when they ban scary murder simulators

Considering the outcome of Proposition 8, the state of California is also against same-sex marriage.

it's kind of a shame in itself when the best california has to offer is still kind of an idiot
You know what
fuck sandy hook
Fuck it. It couldn't have been prevented. The guy planned it for fucking YEARS.
I shall spell this out in a way somebody as stupid as this guy can understand:
STOP.
USING.
IT. TO ADVANCE. YOUR FUCKING. POLITICAL. AGENDA.
Feinstein said that video games play, "a very negative role for young people, and the industry ought to take note of that."
If everyone just started telling people citation needed when they say things like this, we'd see this fight against video games die out in seconds. The fight against guns will be a bit harder than that to kill off, but anything to discredit Feinstein is a good start.
Every person reacts different after watching/playing/reading something.
The way the person reacts is inside themselves.
For example.
There are kids that play violent games, and have completely normal lives, at the same time there are people that commits those acts and played games too.
I don't doubt that people that commits those crimes played at the least a shooting game, but you cannot blame the game itself.
It's in the decision of every parent, if they buy video games to their children or not.
I played violent games since I was a child, and I have good notes and barely get in trouble at the school.

eat it Feinstein
Here's an idea, how about the people of California elect someone who doesn't blame guns and video games. It would be a nice compromise that doesn't sound completely outlandish don't you agree?
ill bring it up at the next meeting
Blame video games? how about they blame people for making guns accessible to the insane?
Has there ever been an E-rated FPS game out there? I'm just curious.
I really hate it when some ignorant people associate violent mass shooting with violent video games. People who do this stupid connection might also be bigots who think all Muslims are terrorist as well and probably accuse homosexuals for causing bad weather. I'm just saying because they are the type who loves to jump to conclusion and never gave a thought about other aspects that causes the crime

Nerf did a game where you shoot robots with nerf guns, It got a E rating
Ban this multicolored filth
On another note, Why not ban violent books too in that case. Hell, when i was in 9'th grade we got a book to read as an assignment, And the book was basically a true story-ish recall of a child being repeatedly tortured by his mother. That was violent and cruel as hell, but nothing would stop any child with the ability to read to go and get it
What about doing something about real guns
ya know
the ones that actually killed the people..
Fucking idiots these days

She already tried?
As a child I ran around with stick pretending they were guns.
Ban sticks?
