DLC for some games I own, GTA 3 and Vice City because I own San Andreas.
Fair enough.
Black Ops because of my recent playtime with New Vegas.

That applies to me in my case, though I already bought the game.
I played the fuck out of that Dog Fight gamemode and the server went down...
Needs an option to not recommended something to friends. And maybe a separate toggle-able "friend's recommendations" window on the side of the game page instead of the blaring "LOLOLOL U DIE AT END" in the middle of the page.
Oh cool, steam implemented a community Stand Up Comedian feature.

It won't let me recommend Stalin vs. Martians, but but but it's BEZT GAEM EVUR. :downs:
This feature should be disabled if you have at least one game on your wishlist ("I know what I want shut the fuck up")
All I've played recently is GMod so I've been spammed with just about every genre that exists.
:sigh: what a useless feature

This is the only recommendation on my list that makes any sense.
Meh, I'm just attempting to confuse and break it further on it's suggestions for me, by rejecting them all.

Here's mine!
I'll eat my hat if none of you keep getting recommendations based off your gmod playtime or new DlC's for your game.

It tells me to buy DODS becasue I play TF2
Gabe needs more doughnut money
Seems that we all are getting pretty generic recommendations.
I bought L4D but it recommends L4D2 because of Black Ops.
Actually, almost every game is recommended because of Black Ops.
And I already bought ArmA 2 BAF, so why is it recommended?
It recommends to me games that I already own, but cannot activate on Steam. Bad Company 2 and the original Dawn of War (and expansions) for example.
I think it bases a lot of recomendations on genre.
God damnit Steam. Tempting me into spending all my Christmas-present money on cool shit you recommended for me.
I guess it's the petrol station for presents again this year.
I'm enjoying it at least :buddy:
It's not platform specific.
This is pretty accurate for me, I own some of the games it's recommending me but not on steam.
At first when I saw my friends reviews I didn't think they wrote them, almost looks like a commercial or something.

Sort of, but I've played MW2 and COD 4 and I've seen some gameplay videos of Black OPS and it's pretty much just the same as MW2 when it comes to the multiplayer which is the only real appeal to the game which is still beaten to smithereens by Battlefield Bad Company 2.
Black OPs recommendation everywhere :suicide:
