Bernie and Donald are already competing for voters
Iowa and NH were those overwhelmingly white states I was talking about, he's going to get massacred in any state with a significant non-white population, the polls show that Hillary is predicted to confidently take both Nevada and South Carolina.
In New Hampshire, Bernie won in every single demographic. Non-whites are coming around to him after a series of endorsements. His issue has been that people don't know about his history, they don't know he marched with Martin Luther King, for example. But he's getting more and more exposure, and Women and non-whites are voting in unusual proportions for an old white Jewish man from Brooklyn and it's amazing.
You don't have to be average. The world isn't going to be this awful for much longer, I can promise you that. Just hold on a little longer, and you'll see something pretty special.
Oh BOY it's time for vauge-right-wing-doomposts. What the fuck is wrong with the strange hardcore of Trump supporters I've bumped into online? You all spout this "yeah you fucking LIEbrals keep watching, yeah it's gonna happen, yeah.......something big" shit constantly.
Either start actually explaining yourself or just stop that silly shit. It's fucking embarrassing to read lmao.
Jesus christ you actually thing nazism is socialism
No, I think socialism is silly, and will never go far enough to live up to it's promise.
The only way to accomplish what socialism promises, is to take total control of all industry in the nation, and use that control to implement policies which exclusively benefit the nation and it's people. In addition to this, policy must be put in place which rewards endeavors that benefit the nation as a whole, and harshly punishes endeavors which harm the nation.
In this way, universal healthcare, free education and general prosperity can be assured. Anything less than this is a recipe for failure.
That's national socialism.

Prove it, and everything else you've said in support of Trump, because I think you're full of shit.
No, actually she was not, the only polls that showed her winning in NH were taken months before the primary, and the polls for Iowa showed them relatively close with her having a slight edge.
In bold; There's that attitude I was talking about earlier, all I did was disagree and now I'm getting shit-talked.
That's laughable. how is that shit talking? I'm not even brushing your opinion off.

idk man until the right wing Tory party started eroding funding for our NHS and support services they seemed to be functioning perfectly fine, and they are based on socialist principles. Much like everything Sanders has suggested. Other countries in this weird blue ball we call home have managed to implement socialised services to provide the bare minimum humans really should be entitled to without devolving into facist hellholes or just failing as countries.
The "free market" isn't an answer to core needs such as healthcare and basic food provision. It will corrupt and effectively fuck those most in need over. Collusion and corruption have always been rife in capitalist markets due to the nature of competition.

Another demographic statistic of Facepunch I'm sure you're unaware of is that an overwhelming amount of users on the site are atheists so quoting religious texts really won't get you far in an argument here (or an actual intellectual debate in the real world but I digress).
Sanders is super electable. If Trump wasn't around, I'd likely be voting for Sanders.
I think Trump is a much better option. Sanders doesn't have the energy that Trump has, and he's a socialist. Historically, the only Socialist nation that was able to prosper under socialism, was Germany, under National Socialism. Every other nation that tries socialism stagnates. There's no real growth or prosperity, it slowly crumbles.
This should be obvious.
Just because the national socialists called themselves socialists doesn't make them socialists. Socialism is about universally accessible public spending, economic and social equality, and most importantly cooperative ownership of industry. The Nazis weren't into that.
Do you wanna know a country that really prospered under socialist policies?
The USA
During FDR's new deal, a set of policies inspired by socialist principles, drove up employment and quality of life during the great depression, and arguably the economy improved. Until Reagan, the top rate of tax in the US was 80-90% or so, but the US was one of the strongest economies on the planet.
The UK around the same period, during a time of incredible economic hardship, created an incredibly effective welfare state and the best national healthcare system on the planet, at least until the 80s when we started electing right wingers again. We didn't have people lining up at foodbanks (until the conservatives got popular again) or have insane inflation. Most of Europe has socialised policies and is doing incredibly well.

you're not as good at emotional manipulation as you think you are. best leave that to your idol, daddy Trump.
No matter how you cut it, it comes off as rude when referring to someone's opinion.
A man says he wouldn't care if he lived in a country with a fascist leader and you're concerned about how rude it may be to laugh at someone.
You have the oddest sense of priorities.

No I knew about the atheist thing. It's just common sense. If you start throwing around sensitive information to people who aren't ready for it, they'll mix it in with a bunch of nonsense. Then, anyone who wants to find that sensitive information has to dig through a mountain of shit to find it.
Dismissing something, because of it's source, is the height of everything atheists claim to hate about religions. I never dismiss anything, regardless of where it came from, because everybody has some information which is superior to my own, regardless of what a moron they make themselves out to be.
This, and my concern for you all, is a good reason to continue speaking with FP as a whole. I don't think we agree about anything, except a general sentiment that guns should not be taken away from their citizens.

Except you were, I think Sanders is practically unelectable, same thing with Trump, they're too far to the left and right respectively, we need someone that can ease our government into things like national healthcare and campaign reforms, they're proposing an immediate jump from the center which I don't think will work.
Out of curiosity, who is your favored candidate?

Religious texts and teachings are largely dismissed as "evidence" because the sources are about as non-empirical as it can get. They are constructed entirely from he-said-she-saids passed down for ??? generations before being slapped into a book. They are not evidence of anything, they do not prove a single thing other than some people knew a cute story about a vengeful God and it's follows or something.
Don't compare people ignoring Bible passages to the denial of actual scientific or statistical proofs of things. It's asinine.
Even if Sanders or Trump get elected, they'll accomplish little, it'll be like Obama's presidency except with even more meaningless deadlock, Congress is the establishment itself and someone, even the President, trying to radically steer them away from establishment policies is going to have an incredibly difficult, if not outright impossible road ahead of them.
