I thought Prince was way older than 57 by now thought he was closer to like 70
Jesus, what the fuck is with 2016? The first few months have been a graveyard of famous people.
"the key to longevity is to learn every aspect of music that you can" -Prince. RIP.
Never listen to his music myself, but it's still sad to see another music icon go.
Same thing as Kurt Cobain, they can't publicly confirm it, but it's pretty obvious.,
Well it was a mansion/recording studio and wealthy famous people are known to have random ass Joe's living with them.
God dammit, he was an awesome guy. I've got to meet him on a few occasions and even went to a party at his house back in 2013. This is terrible.
First Chyna, now Prince. For fucks sakes man.
2016 can eat a dick.
Well it was a mansion/recording studio and wealthy famous people are known to have random ass Joe's living with them.
He just returned there after a medical emergency.
Never really got into his stuff, but I can't deny that he was incredibly talented and had a huge influence on music.
http://consequenceofsound.net/2015/03/confirmed-prince-has-a-bank-vault-of-unreleased-music/ Article is about a huge vault in the basement of unreleased material. Wonder what will get pushed out.
So I guess pop is just dead then.
Oh wow, Lemmy, Bowie, Frey, Martin, and now Prince has all passed away these past few months. [sp]I wonder who's next...[/sp]
I thought Prince was way older than 57 by now thought he was closer to like 70
I thought he was in his mid 30's or something, I don't keep a lot of tabs on that branch of the music industry though. So I guess there's that. RIP

Wonder what will get pushed out.
Yeah, I've heard a bunch of stories about how he'd record songs or videos or even entire albums and then just decide to lock 'em up. It's not uncommon for posthumous releases (Pac, Biggie, MJ, etc) so I wonder if some of Prince's stuff will see the light of day.
Not him too, not after Bowie... FUCK I have to listen to all of his works now. It's my way of honoring the legends. I will hear your sound, sweet Prince.
Sad day. Made me look up this again though.
Sad day. Made me look up this again though.
It's cool that he mellowed out on his anti-internet stance to some degree, putting his music up on digital stores and streaming sites. Still never put the music videos on YouTube, though.
i don't know who prince is and if I've ever heard of his songs I wouldn't know it was him [editline]22nd April 2016[/editline] Am I the only one?

Rumor is AIDs if this report is to be trusted. Posted April 18th
MediaTakeOut.com just received word that a VERY popular African-American celebrity - who has recently been in the news - now has what is being described as AIDS. Obviously since we are not able to 100% confirm the story - we're going to leave it as a Blind Item. We want to make it clear we are NOT talking about Magic Johnson. This report REALLY hurt our heart. According to a person EXTREMELY CLOSE to the situation, the celebrity, who is known for having a very EXTREME sexual past reportedly contracted the illness sometime in the 1990s. He kept the illness quiet but began taking his medication RELIGIOUSLY up until about two years ago. Here's what we're told by a VERY trusted entertainment insider: "[The celebrity] believed that he was cured, and he had some crazy [religious] people who told him that God cured him. So he stopped taking his medication and the sickness came back. Now doctors say he's dying, and there is nothing anyone can do about it." We're told that the celebrity is expected to get sicker and sicker, and eventually pass. It can happen as soon as the summer. Very sad news. If it was AIDS combined with the flu, it doesn't really come across as surprising.
