This dude got tons of traffic to his FB by editing a post he made a year ago today to "Wouldn't it be crazy if prince died in a year?"

Damn what a scumbag
My mother had me listening to Prince at a young age, she loved him growing up. I can't say he really impacted me a ton but damn, if I don't love every single of his that blew up. And he was a character, a lot in the same way that Bowie was ;_;
Well that surprise me.
I never listen to any Prince's song, but I didn't see this one coming.
What will the Target Center do without him
i don't know who prince is and if I've ever heard of his songs I wouldn't know it was him

Am I the only one?
I heard of him, but know none of his songs. Either way, RIP.
Rest in peace. Prince was my dad's biggest idol. :c
Do we know the reason yet?
The coroner is supposedly doing the autopsy today. We'll find out in the next few days, although the tabloids are suggesting drug overdose.

He's been putting off hip surgery for years because he can't get a blood transfusion so it could be that he's been taking painkillers to cope with pain

lmao
Bumping just to report that it is now official that he died of an opioid overdose.
[sp]Mods, the article is too small to really make a new thread with, hence the bump.[/sp]
The official, who is close to the investigation, said this was established by tests after the singer's death in April at his Minneapolis home.
Detectives have already questioned a doctor who saw 57-year-old Prince twice in the weeks before he died.
Prescription painkillers were in the singer's possession following his death, officials told US media in May.
A police warrant has also revealed that Dr Michael Schulenberg prescribed medication to the singer on 20 April - the day before he died.
Should have gotten that hip operation way sooner.
What a waste.
The extra word is the opiate he overdosed on was Fentanyl. It's normally used for medical purposes but it's been more recently used as a cheap substitute for heroin. Here in the Pacific Northwest for about half a year now we've been having a major problem with people cutting other drugs with it which has produced super potent street drugs. The number of nonfatal and fatal drug overdoses this year has already almost doubled compared to all of last year.

No wonder he died, fentanyl is somewhere around 100-times as powerful as morphine, and thus a small change in dosage can easily turn fatal.
The unconfirmed reports right now are he was administered it by his personal physician who might of given him too much.
I'm getting some Michael Jackson vibes here.....
[editline]asda[/editline]
The confirmed report is that his physician WAS prescribing him however Prince was administering it himself.
