Stock work is pretty hard shit. Even just working in a well sized department store, it's rough shit at times.
Working at Amazon, it at least looks like they have some space to put stuff in. In the place I work, the amount and volume of things we get in per week(minimum of one truck a week with over 1500 packages/boxes) literally takes up the stockrooms of the entire store across 9 different rooms. The main and main surge are always full to the brim, to the point of a safety hazard. The only days this isn't true is on serious sales days where the room needs to be emptied across the store in just a few short hours before opening.
It's not the worst job ever but it's not easy and it can kick the shit out of you because often they don't get you the number of staff needed to get a job done, so you're left lifting heavy objects and dragging fixtures around.
Well I mean they are in a amazon.
I'll be honest, while it can be pretty stressful and piss annoying sometimes, Amazon isn't nearly as bad as some warehouse jobs. Though due to working at one of the noncon facilities for a year now I loathe fucking diapers
shipping out thousands of fucking boxes of diapers
I'd like to try it for a day or two to see what it's like
what is it like being a forklift driver in a warehouse
i'm a quick learner with driving stuff
i need a remedial job for a while because of reasons.
I kinda feel bad now as I don't shop in the high streets any more for years. Whenever I shop, I do it online on Amazon.
Uhhh this is pretty much all warehouse jobs.
No it isn't, warehouse jobs generally involve heavy lifting but not constant walking because they have forklifts. Doesn't really matter that Amazon warehouses are all small items either, they could make the work environment a lot better by swapping out push carts for these

moved with these

But no they need to make sure that book you bought doesn't cost eight tenths of a cent more
Is that jack a crown? Crowns are awful.

I just needed a picture of someone using one of the kinds you can stand on
I use one at work. I got stuck with a Crown today actually and they're just awful.
