Add an hour to each school day. Less extreme and still allows for a 2 month break for summer, or the occasional 2 week breaks that other schools get.
i fixed it for you, don't blame the teachers, they didn't go through years of college to become one for noting.
Sometimes it's the students. Sometimes it's the teachers. Sometimes it's both.
Atleast he's trying, don't whine so much about it, let him do it and if there's no improvement over a year then start complaining

He is attempting, but it's just the wrong way to be attempting to fix it at the moment. Since we are out of money, of course overhauling the whole education system is not a viable option right now, but neither is extending the year.
I already failed and dropped out of school, HAHAHA THIS DOESN'T AFFECT ME!!!
Haha suckers.
I already failed and dropped out of school, HAHAHA THIS DOESN'T AFFECT ME!!!
Goddamn I wish image macros were not a bannable offense because I think the one of the mentally handicapped kid crossing the finish line first would be fitting for this post.
I think that teachers should have to teach their own way instead of going by the book. Our school district gives every teacher a "script"; basically something they should follow and not stray away from. You know what my physics teacher said? "Fuck the script, I'm gonna teach the way I want to." (in a less vulgar way, of course) Because of that, we get to do more hands-on activities and I'm learning more and actually liking science now. Some teachers still use the script but combine it with their own method. Others just don't give a shit and let us learn from the shitty curriculum (which I know has holes in it). We need to improve the education system everywhere in this country. And update it to modern, technology-centered education, for Christ's sake.
