YUP, PIRATES FAULT, TOTALLY NOT THE QUALITY AND PRICE OF OUR PRODUCTS
I vote MPAA for most totalitarian corporation.
There go my chances of ever getting a blowjob in the backrow of a cinema.
Well you could still get one, just hope you don't mind being filmed. :P
id pay to watch the footage they captured.
I have no problem with street CCTV since it's a great alibi. But if I had to be watched while trying to see a movie, I just wouldn't go to the cinema.
What is the difference between this and CCTV in a shop or office or something?
What is the difference between this and CCTV in a shop or office or something?
There is none, torrentfreak is being sensationalist as always and bitching about CCTV by another name.
Well, the theatre is private, which of course, lets them do anything they want on their property, whether it be installing cameras or expelling people who they don't want in.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expectation_of_privacy
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expectation_of_privacy
Yeah, but this really only applies to police or government searches. A private entity can still escort out and/or spy on people within their property.
id pay to watch the footage they captured.
Would be hilarious if someone hacked into their database and uploaded hundreds of movies from their own cameras.
Would be hilarious if someone hacked into their database and uploaded hundreds of movies from their own cameras.
I'd imagine these cameras don't point directly at the screen.
It's a pretty understandable move but I don't understand why anyone would want to watch cammed movies They're awful
Would be hilarious if someone hacked into their database and uploaded hundreds of movies from their own cameras.
People from within the studio's upload the finished movie, as a "leak" which happens from time to time, in great quality too. A Pirates of the Carribean movie was leaked, though it was an unfinished edit. Also, cam's suck.
YUP, PIRATES FAULT, TOTALLY NOT THE QUALITY AND PRICE OF OUR PRODUCTS
If the quality is shit, why do people bother pirating the material?
What a waste of money. This won't stop pirate movies getting released.
If the quality is shit, why do people bother pirating the material?
It's worth watching but not worth paying $30 to watch
It's worth watching but not worth paying $30 to watch
Where in the world do you have to pay that much for a ticket? Or are we talking Blu-ray's?
And then they record people getting blowjobs in the theaters by there girlfriends. YUP.
Not sure if this is a common thing but the cinema nearby me (in the UK) has night vision cameras in all the screens. You can see the feeds as you queue up for tickets. Kinda ruins going there with a girl as you're more likely to get kicked out for questionable behaviour but it's not that big a deal :v:
because movies don't come out on dvd the moment they come out in theaters
It's like a month's disparity these days. Not a huge deal.
If the quality is shit, why do people bother pirating the material?
Because people still download it and pirates get pretty huge cash ins from ads.
Can't wait for the footage from people watching Horror movies to hit youtube, if I could rewatch my friend screaming like a girl and throwing his Popcorn everywhere it'd be worth it.
It's like a month's disparity these days. Not a huge deal. good now they can see who wacks it in G rated movies
1 week later, FBI raids 1000 people's homes.
If the quality is shit, why do people bother pirating the material?
Because pirates live in this bizarre reality where something can be worth your time but not your money.
What's wrong with having an employee sitting in a chair, monitoring the theater while people watch the movie? Some theaters are already doing that, and it's working pretty well.
