I don't know about you nerds, but sometimes when I click on a game in the storefront it randomly starts up big picture mode now.
I'm sort of irritated of the non-centered layout.

If the client is 1230 pixels wide or smaller, all the content is aligned in the centre
it's due to the categories on the side, and adaptive CSS

Ok, Well...
I may have just found a way to edit steam...
although it affects all pages, as it's applied to chromium directly
I wish I could filter recommendations too. Like don't recommend me games that aren't even released yet, are already on my wishlist, don't have good reviews, etc.
Hey, I've had Steam recommend a game I already own.

Steam themes available from Steam itself soon?
This update is mostly good, at least it shows Valve have tried to do some actual fucking listening for once because people have been shouting at them for some of this shit for a long time now.
The thing that gets my goat is the Curator system, because they still couldn't be bothered to do their job (curating steam) their own fucking selves.
But whatever, I get the feeling a few big people are going to do a better job at shit like this than Valve could.
I used to like it more when it was simpler. I also used to buy a lot of games, just before the flood gates of amateurish games broke free, and it is simply too time-consuming now to sort through it all...I gave up also on following events, looting items and w/e. It's just a total mess.

i like this curator nonsense
It will be interesting to see how the curator system develops.
Will it help good games with low advertisement, in a "you might have missed this" way, or put more pressure onto them because people stop searching themselves and rely on their tastemakers?
Steam just officially went entirely from black/camo green to blue.
blue is a pleasant color

Steam is on the Virtual Boy now?
As much as I like Jim Sterling and TB, they have very specific tastes in games I find. Also why would you seriously follow a fucking publisher to actually curate your content?
Because it's Devolver Digital. They fucking rock! You should check their recommendations list, it's not like they recommend any of their own game. It's funny that you seem to be implying that they'd be pushing some sort of nefarious agenda.
Also, it seems like people aren't grasping the fact that TB & Jim aren't just recommending games that they personally like, but high-quality PC games in general that aren't broken or missing features. At most they'll mention "this is my favorite game" but most of the time they will say "If you like X kind of game this might be your thing" or "This is a high-quality port" and they'll usually link their video about said game. You bet your ass that if TB mentions a game is good I'll at least know that in terms of PC features it's at least not missing anything critical to that kind of game.
