I think CO is doing it right now where you bring your own cannabis to the pot clubs and they make money from selling refreshments, entrance fees, whatever. But if WA is being anal then it's probably for patients only right now.
that might be how it is in seattle. we just aren't selling it yet. possession and use are perfectly legal as long as you aren't using it in public areas.
I disapprove of the term "marijuana", it supposedly is derived from a mexican slang term for really shitty tobacco, so when i refer weed in any form, it's always going to be "cannabis". Oh great jay nixon, please push for a law to legalize cannabis here in Missouri, if the state congress is willing to push a bill to you nullifying all federal gun laws, then cannabis should be no problem.
I don't think legalizing weed will turn Colorado into an economic miracle.
It's just another consumer good like beer, tobacco, condoms or bread.
Why is hemp never mentioned? Hemp doesn't even get you high, but it has hundreds of industrial and agricultural uses, yet was made illegal just the same. If they start making paper, rope, concrete, alternative to gasoline fuel, plastic, ect.

Hemp is useless for those things.
It's a more expensive alternative. It's why hemp was abandoned by Europe and the USSR, despite remaining legal.

hemp has limited uses. hell, hemp is technically legal to import and use in the usa but it's not widely used because it's not incredibly useful.
i would be more interested in hemp seed oil since it's p. nutritious, but other than that i can't think of many applications for hemp that aren't already made more efficient with other materials.
