i would like to see this leather sofa you speak of
The skin has been tanned by the bog so its basically leather now. This guy was alive during the 4th century BC btw.

He was so well preserved that scientists could tell what his last meal was: gruel, a type of cooked oats. He was sacrificed to an old God to ensure a good harvest. Quite barbaric. Seamus Heaney did a poem on him.
Wow he really does look like a leather sofa. :o
So a brain in a swamp can survive 2000 years, yet my milk in my climate controlled, sealed box goes bad after a few weeks. Fucking bullshit.
looks like a brownie topped with slimy elephant shit
looks like lasagna with dye in it to me, the crusty parts could be qualified as the burnt parts
I must confess. . .there are times that Science gives me wood. This is one of those times.
I'm pretty sure i've read and seen this brain somewhere...
The article is a year old.

I wonder if we can extract data from that brain?

Not sure how 600BC is "prehistoric". We were thought everything before written history is considered "prehistoric", which is 3500 BC...
I saw on tv that he was a criminal that got his ass hanged. Oh well.
He was a criminal, and his punishment was becoming sacrifice to their deity of Harvest. Worst luck for the poor guy.
