Runescape bot nuking event bans 1.5 million bots in one day - Polidicks

It also reset my bank pin, and I know I wasn't hacked either, I checked the "Last logged in from <IP here>" and it was still mine. It happened to a couple of my friends too.

They banned me for hacking once. I didn't even do it. I had like a level 80 dude. Never returned when I noticed I had to start all over again

I love how they didn't catch my bot that's been running for a year straight.

I remember having enterprises in Runescape, setting up lumber/ore shops with dedicated buyers and people who would sell it to me for less than market value, I'd just up that by 10~15% and bank the difference. God damn I was a crafty bitch as a kid.

He managed to get into a trade with some guy but just before my friend clicked to accept the other guy swapped out the white party hat with a chef's hat you can find anywhere. Without noticing, my friend clicked accept again only to find out shortly after that he had wasted 10mil gold. I still occasionally make fun of him for that. By the way, he's learning finance and accounting in uni now.

oh man I hated that nasty trick where the other person swapped stuff fast during a trade sometime's I'd offer to trade lots of money for valuable items in those crowded banks and instead of accepting, just watch how many people tried to swap out items on me, expecting me to hit accept so fast
