I can't really make a guess on it myself. I honestly don't understand why someone would want someone else to turn out to be lying just so they can put them down. It makes no sense at all to me.
Also with all the fuck ups on Mob Justice lately it wouldn't surprise me.
can you update the OP to say she is in the hospital and (presumably) alive
It would be funny if it turned out that the SRS was all speculation that because she was a transgendered individual that she was secretly using it for SRS and not what she stated. Then it turns out that she does have a bit of toxic metal in her and then everyone feels like an arse.
Considering how everyone's first course of action was to demean and insult her for being trans doesn't tell you anything? Sure, there are more accepting people now but it's still just as bad as the 1940s. In fact, it's actually a little worse because the fire is starting to die down for the gays and now dickfaces are setting their sights on us.
Over the past year alone there have been threads on FP where there have been constant streams of shitposting against transsexuals just because someone posted an article relating to it.
Hell, the GMF is a primary example. Mods and Golds both participating in raiding the transgender thread and then taking it to their forum just to mock us. Even with the drop in discrimination, transgender people are way behind gays in terms of progression. It's only now starting to become more vocal.
in regards to GMF it has much more to do with how the regulars of that thread react violently to RATINGS (literally every time). it could easily be any other thread.
~this is only speculation im not a gold member ♥~(‘▽^人)~

You have an odd sense of humor

Funny in a morbid sense.

That's some M. Night Shyamalan grade twists.

Got nothing on that.
Wow and people thought I was stupid for asking for evidence on page 11, you guys really need to evaluate stuff before you throw your money away at something as sad as that.
Transgender using the title to advantage.
That $29k cost of the operation just reminds me everyday of how I shouldn't move out of Finland.
Cheap and quality healthcare. I didn't have to see my home getting sold just because my mom had an intracranial hemorrhage.
ok so this thread is borderline incomprehensible to read so can I get some info:
what's her state now? is she alive? what happened?
is there concrete evidence saying she's a fraud? or vice versa?
Well imagine that the person who had the so called 'leak' lied because he doesn't like transgendered people and she never told him. So he feels betrayed and disgusted so he decides to discredit the bid to save her life from metal poisoning because he just hates her for being trans that much.

She is Transgender, she is alive in the hospital after attempting chemical suicide by overdose on an unknown drug.
No evidence one way or the other but people assume the worst, and I assume the horrid.
She has probably set back trans relations another year.
um, if one transgendered person did something bad does that make every transgendered person an arsehole?
no
what's her state now? is she alive? what happened?

It seems that she is alive and I believe that has been confirmed now but I'm not sure on that.
There is no concrete evidence either way. There's slightly more circumstantial evidence pointing towards her having lied about her reason for the surgery but the only circumstantial evidence even then is the fact that IndieGoGo closed down the fundraiser.

Maybe you'll like to listen to my idea for novels than, they are rather twisted and dark. Like myself it would seem.

And that she's Transgender.
Kinda like how there was reports of a stolen car and the police pull over a black man in a new car on 'circumstance.'

she is in a hospital atm
If you are seriously angry at me for calling her a "HE" you can screw off. He is a he in real life. I supported her. Telling the truth now
The guy is unnecessarily aggressive in this message (and at least a couple others), and his entire rant was largely unprovoked and self-fellating. He seems to be constantly painting himself as being central to the whole thing, but as far as I am aware, this is really the first time he has been connected to her in any serious form.

She also hasn't provided any evidence that she does indeed have 'metal poisoning' and she didn't attempt to deny the rumours that it was for her SRS. Is that enough evidence to confirm she was lying? No, but it certainly does cast alot of doubt on her - doubt that could've been easily waved away had she posted some proof.
lol, shut the fuck up yourself. I see were you're coming from but comments in an FP thread won't hurt a girl who's already dead

yeah white knights, I'm sure your boxes will bring her back
Anybody that uses the term "white knight" seriously is giving themselves away as either a child or just a cunt
Having respect for another human being and having the capacity for empathy doesn't make you a white knight it makes you a decent human being.

Im curious about that, why would metal have been left in?
Also, he had three reasons to get authorities involved. If the whole thing really was a scam, he had a duty to alert authorities. He must have had communications with her at some point, there'd likely be evidence somewhere. Second, she was apparently blackmailing him which is another reason to get authorities involved and arguably just as substantial. Third, her blackmail was apparently that she would kill herself. The fact she was threatening to kill herself in any respect should have immediately sent him to contact authorities for her own safety. Even ignoring the first two completely, that one alone should have been enough. But why has he only now really grown a spine apparently and decided that now is the time to "tell the truth".
Ohh, and I love this one:
I have transgender friends and would never refer to them as "he" but that's not what this is about right now. It's about actual events.
It is literally the same as people who go "I'm not racist! I have black friends!"
I'm not going to take his word for much because he is a liar no matter how you look at it (not just maybe, but actually is in some form). He has admitted to being dishonest already for arguably dubious reasons (if the police are investigating someone for fraud and blackmail, they're not going to let them commit suicide if possible. And if they are aware that the suspect has threatened suicide, they will actually take extra precautions for that reason.) So he's not off to a good start there. The other option is that he is lying about the reality of things, and he's not just a liar but malicious.

He did contact authorities, the problem is that Chloe was an alias it seems and disrupted the attempt.
Im curious about that, why would metal have been left in?
Sometimes these things can go unnoticed, its actually not incredibly uncommon. Typically its a non-issue and often times people can continue to live with it entirely unhindered, but that is not always the case.

Metal fragments on an xray are pure white, thus even one as small as a splinter would be easily noticable.

If she has that condition it shouldn't have been difficult to show the documents.
Im curious about that, why would metal have been left in?
Actually, it happens all the time. Metal fragmentation from IEDs or bullet wounds is often left in the body, because it's more damaging to remove than to just leave in. The bits are so hot that they're sterilized instantly, and steel and other common metals are inert and harmless to the body. If they're damaging a nerve, or nicking a major vein/artery, or otherwise causing damage they'll be removed, otherwise it's not necessary.
Which is why the whole 'metal poisoning' thing is weird. There are metals that can cause damage to the body, but they're very rare in commercial use.
She also hasn't provided any evidence that she does indeed have 'metal poisoning' and she didn't attempt to deny the rumours that it was for her SRS.
But there's no real evidence that she doesn't have some sort of metal poisoning and no evidence that it was for SRS either? There's a claim from one guy about things with no evidence to back up those claims then there's the suspicious circumstances around the IndieGoGo campaign being closed down which we have no information on. It could have been closed down due to all the complaints that people thought it was for SRS or whatever it was Reddit was supposedly attacking her for, it could have been for actual belief that it was fraud. We simply don't know and anyone drawing conclusions currently is pretty stupid for doing so. We don't have nearly enough information to accurately conclude anything other than that she did, it seems, attempt suicide and is in the hospital now.

That's a fairly bad example. That shows the best case sort of example. What if that nail was, for example, in the torso behind a bunch or ribs or something? It could feasibly be missed if that were the case.

I wasn't saying that we should be making conclusions. What I was saying is that with the amount of doubt about her affliction, she should've posted some form of evidence. X-rays, a rejection letter from her insurance company - fuck, even a hospital bracelet would've provided some proof.
He did contact authorities, the problem is that Chloe was an alias it seems and disrupted the attempt.
This is the only post I can find about that:
For example, some people called 911 but couldn't find her because there was no her to find.
And this was part of a conversation about how transpersons identify, not over contacting authorities.

Sorry, I guess I should have separated those parts of my post. The first part was directed at you but the rest was directed at the people drawing conclusions like they have some sort of definitive evidence.
