Those bastards :( Pigs deserve better than that
Reading the article or even this thread will help.
I already read the post.
read as micro-pugs "whYY"
You don't take wild animals from a different country and then just sell them to some far off country. This is how eco-systems get ruined.
They are killing them so it is not like it is negatively affecting anything. People who buy them in Western countries would probably have them as back yard pets in a fenced off yard. Depending on where you are, there is no wild pigs running around so the little pigs would not reproduce or anything. Probably just die because they are so tiny.

Big enough to breed with farm pigs if they encounter them. Pigs are very hardy, produce large litters and are massively destructive to eco-systems not adapted to them, hence the need to cull them.

I looked up to see how much they cost in Florida $500+ Fuck that. For that price I can have a REAL pig.
I think they need to invent nano-pig first

They grow to be the size of dogs. People buy them thinking it will stay the size of a piglet then it gets too big. Dogs can survive in the wild and so could micropigs, micropigs also have a more varied diet which would help them scavenge food or eat plants.
So in terms of regular pigs, that's like only 10 are dead, right?
Well the ratio of midget to actual people is 3 midgets => 1 person, so if its like that its 33.3 pigs.
