This election is a joke. Your options are: Hillary "actually a criminal" Clinton Donald "speaks to the lowest IQ" Trump or Gary "remove the federal government" Johnson
You have to be relativistic. He's pro reform and fairly liberal compared to his peers. If he tried to make it a democracy his family + the extremists he's worked hard to take power from would make him disappear.
We should get rid of all democracies since there's always risk of extremists taking power, then.
We should get rid of all democracies since there's always risk of extremists taking power, then.
Nope you got checks and balances to handle that A democracy that doesn't have checks and balances is just a bipolar autocracy. [sp]not literally[/sp]
Didn't he go around genociding white people
You're thinking of Robert Mugabe
Yeah I was wondering about that, all I can find on the net is stormfront esque shit though so no conclustion there
He did run a rebel group that bombed buses though.
I'm part of the Trudeau fanclub :cat:
He did run a rebel group that bombed buses though.
Because of stuff like this, his lack of an answer is probably the best out of such a loaded "gotcha" question. Every statesman, leader and such are in the end, still imperfect human beings with flaws and mistakes. No matter who Gary Johnson said, there would have been a "backlash" as the media focused on the flaws of whomever he picked as oppose to why he picked them. Calling it an "Aleppo moment" was a mistake, yes, but it saved him I think from a much worse media storm.
It's not a "loaded question" to ask someone running for president to name a foreign head of state they admire ffs, it shows what kind of leader they might try to be also for all the posters who obviously didn't watch the video, the leader was supposed to be alive

so does he like digging holes for himself? Either rephrase the question and pick an admired leader like Churchill or just pick a foreign leader that's fairly neutral

Hillary is unsurprising she'd picked Merkel since they are far more aligned on the political spectrum.
Now we need someone to ask Trump this question, I am actually really interested to see what he says

You can always reframe questions if you wish in this kind of thing and answer it in a more acceptable way if he wants too.

Angela Merkel, Theresa May, or Francois Hollande. A country who's been affected by terrorism and who we're fighting against ISIS side by side with. It's not hard to think of a single ally. Then again, I don't think anybody would pick apart whoever he chose because it's Gary Johnson and nobody gives a fuck
Someone asked Trump! And inexplicably he also chose Angela Merkel
his statement reads like one of those emails you get from chinese hackers
But the Aleppo thing along with not really knowing any foreign leaders is a bit troubling for a man who wants the top job.
Seemed more like he wanted to refer to that one specific guy, this doesn't mean that he don't know any other foreing leader-
