They updated the dialect but they tried to make it poetic at the same time, thus making it not easier to read, and less poetic. The bible is GREAT literature, but they keep taking away what made it good, the poetic nature of it

I got no problem with the Bible as is, it's a good book, has some nice poetry and it has some guides to help you be a better person. I still don't believe in the man upstairs, though. The way I see it, with the state of the world being what it is, he is either dead, or he doesn't care.
