Yeah no it won't, people actually like Charles.
They are literally the leader of the country and can veto everything and anything if they so please???
This doesn't happen. Don't pretend that it does.

They could, but since their armed guard sucks compared to chavs I don't think they'd dare tbh.

They can and they do, Charles and the Queen used their veto powers to stop an act that would have given MP's the power to declare war.
I'm pretty pleased with them getting involved because for the most part they tend to be more sensible or care more about the people than the god damned government.

And Prince Charles could be likened to horus...
Seeing as the monarchy isn't a democratically voted power, surely it's a bad idea to be giving these people the ability to have any kind of political sway?
I think having a political leader born into the role is just as hit and miss as having to vote one in on a majority.
What's irrational? Do you even know my reasons for opposing monarchies? And what does majority opinion have to do with the validity of a position?
I wish the UK Monarchy had political power.

Tbh the only appointed government roles with actual powers should be technocratically based
aka the house of lords

Games Workshop, the people who made warhammer are from the UK you know...
eh, i like the fact that the monarchy at least want something to do with politics in this country. nowadays its just considered a tourist attraction either way.
Really? Personally I find the idea of someone who wasn't voted in having and using official power unnerving. Particularly when that person's life experience has been so for removed from that of the rest of the population they are exerting control over.

Just reread it, looks as if he's not actually gonnna try to force anyone to do anything with his king powers, he's just going to lobby. So maybe disregard the above.
