Pretty much, i still can't help but see everything he says as satirical, i just can't imagine him as a serious candidate.
Collective denial meets Bystander effect. What's worse is with a Supreme court bench filled under his administration, we'll be suffering for it for a long time.
Like they say, I'm laughing at elections, because they're already predetermined America's next three presidents.
Avatar fits surprisingly well. Anyways, I'm not surprised by the results. I can see why Pakistan would suddenly do a 360 against Obama given all the controversy over the accidental deaths and the raid on Osama's compound which they may (not) have known about beforehand. Though I don't think supporting Romney is the best way to channel that anger.
I want to see Fox News get their bees in a bonnet over this.
Pakistan indicates there's a bias somewhere. Were the votes equal between the countries?
I think the only reason Romney has backed so much support is because of the large chunk of ignorant republicans hating anything democratic. The people who hate Obama without even knowing what's going on just because he's part of the democratic party
rest of the world isn't blind
Most off the stances romney has on alot off things is political suicide in most european countries.
rest of the world isn't blind
What do you mean? Because they voted for the other guy?
Not going to act like a genius pundit, but I've said that on this forum, and most agreed. America: we thought your country had reached maturity by voting a black man for president. Don't have us all think it was a blip.
It's because they're judging him largely on foreign policy, don't know/care about how the US economy is doing and haven't been bombared with thousands of Romney ads. AFAIK the only Obama domestic policy which got widespread news coverage in the UK was healthcare reform, and obviously everyone here loved that
Pakistan has the most to lose from Romney winning and he has popular support lol.
I'm pretty sure everyone outside of the US is wondering how the fuck you lot let Romney get so far.
Because the majority of Americans couldn't give two shits one way or the other, participation in politics is something people either don't care about, or are too clueless and ignorant on who to vote for. People think one man can do everything: change the economy, send all the troops home, fix healthcare, housing, ect, when no, that can't fucking happen. It hurts my brain when people automatically blame Obama for not fixing America, like four goddamn years is enough time to put a dent in a decades-old problem.

People have such an inflated idea of what the executive's powers are, it's ridiculous. It disturbs me that so many americans don't seem to understand basic things like separation of powers, or how the legislative process works.
I apologize for America's massive ignorance. But how do we fix it? How do we stop Mittens or anyone like him from becoming a viable candidate? Honestly, it seems like nothing short of every other country in the world sitting us down and telling us how stupid we are is going to do a dang thing to the political issues we have here.
Some of the most pro-romney countries in that list are Kenya and Nigeria, I can't stand the irony

Civics should be a basic class like english and math, and taken every year up until the end of high school.
What do you mean? Because they voted for the other guy?
Because they didn't vote for Mott Rimney the flip-flopper.
the fact that the election is so close is actually god damn mindblowing
These next few weeks may determine not just the fate of America, but possibly the fate of humanity; will Obama get his second term in which to fix stuff, or will we all face annihilation at the hands of the High Inquisitor?
You need better education. Can you imagine what a civics class would be like in rural Texas or Kansas?

There're us moral, God-fearing Republicans who love our country and all the freedom that comes with it. Then there're them filthy Dems, who wanna see Murrica turned into a Gay Communist Nazi Atheist Muslim Empire! Them liberals dun want us to have no freedom! VOTE ROMNEY! HE'LL SAVE OUR GREAT NATION WITH HIS BIG SMARTS!"
Obama is pretty unpopular in pakistan because of the drone strikes, i think.
Could the Pakistani opinion have anything to do with Romney's foreign policy on Iran and the rest of the Middle East?
Why is Romney so popular in Kenya compared to the other countries? That literally makes no sense. Also Pakistan, what?
And Obama's dad is from Kenya, so odd.
Why is Romney so popular in Kenya compared to the other countries? That literally makes no sense. Also Pakistan, what?
Romney's policies on gay rights, abortion ect
And Obama's dad is from Kenya, so odd.
More importantly, Obama's dad was British.
I'm pretty sure everyone outside of the US is wondering how the fuck you lot let Romney get so far.
America has massive economic influence in other western nations. If Romney fucks your economy up more, he will hurting more than just US business. Australia handled the last finance crisis relatively well but I don't think we could take another hit.
huh
It is great for a country to be so progressive but trying to ban homework and having only a 35 hour work week etc is not that good for a country.
It is great for a country to be so progressive but trying to ban homework and having only a 35 hour work week etc is not that good for a country.
But France is a great country to live. There is a lot more to life than working for your country ya know.
But France is a great country to live. There is a lot more to life than working for your country ya know.
I know it is great. I spend a large amount of time over there. It is just that Socialists get very excited the few times they have any power. Sometimes they go a bit too far with things like reducing the work week from 40 hours to 35. There was literally no reason to do that; all it did was make it harder to hire French workers.
