• Warren endorses Clinton

People are going to vote against what is right, just to avoid Trump. While this is not a bad thing concerning Trumps behavior and views, you can't deny the mountains of facts that point to Hillary being corrupt, selfish, untrustworthy, rude, war mongering, and unreliable. You could also point to Trump and his concerning views on women and minorities. I was going to post some stuff but I saw above that a lot of it has already been spoken for. Would you really want to give your vote to that, or speak out and demand that these 2 party shenenagins are giving us shit choices like the one we have this election and it needs to stop. I know you guys are smarter than this, especially the Bernie supporters. This isn't about this election anymore; it's much larger. It's about how we got here, it's about how we can save post 9/11 politics and how we can restore faith in our leaders. Nobody likes making a choice between these two. But why are we forced to? I think that's the question I've been asking myself this whole time. Personally, I can't vote for Hillary, I can't vote for Trump. Fuck all the bipartisan elitists who harass me for not voting for Hillary so "I give one to Trump". I can't give the message that I, as a citizen want to give by voting for either of them. Fuck bipartisan politics and fuck the candidates.
I never understood how not going out and voting somehow strips you from the right to complain
These choices of candidates are ridiculous. Do you want a 9mm bullet in the left foot or a 45. in the right?
I ain't going to vote this election most likely, but I am quite excited for Trump-on-Clinton entertainment. And the best part is this WWE-level of drama won't even be on pay-per-view!
I never understood how not going out and voting somehow strips you from the right to complain
If you didn't even bother trying to have an affect on the election, what right do you have to complain about the results?
Hillary got as far as she has because she has been fighting for the people for decades, and building up strong relationships with other Democrats and other interests over that time. As opposed to Sanders, who has been a lone wolf in the majority of his time in Congress.
If you're going to qualify a candidate with "fights for the people" then Bernie will win that contest every time.
If you're going to qualify a candidate with "fights for the people" then Bernie will win that contest every time.
They both do, just to different degrees and different ways.
They both do, just to different degrees and different ways.
I would say Bernie has a much stronger case considering he was arrested for chaining himself to a black woman in the sixties.
Trump's post-primary polling surge looks to be over, no polls have been published yet that could show whether Clinton will get a similar bump from winning her primary
I thought it was Warren G for a second.
Can we stop pretending that Goofy Elizabeth Warren is a relevant politician. As a US Senator she has accomplished nothing. The Democrats don't even like her. She pretends to be Native American in order to get special privileges like getting accepted into colleges. And now, to lose what little integrity she had left, she bows down to support Crooked Hillary who doesn't even like her.
I refuse to believe you're not trolling.
No that's just what being a Trump supporter does to people. Trump, not even once.
Says a lot about Warren that the best you got against her is "goofy".

[editline]10th June 2016[/editline] When has Clinton pandered to the pro-abortion group? The anti-gay marriage lobby?
i'm worried about the handful of you who appear to think the democratic establishment endorsing the democratic nominee for president is somehow a conspiracy, or even a choice at all in some sense
Can we see some official trump merch from you already so we know you're not trolling?
Actually residing in the Trump hotel, just let me know if anyone wants a hat so I can charge it on the room AKA not me.
Or vote for Jill Stein who is a much better version of Bernie Sanders. There are alternatives to the two parties, you know...
The reason Bernie mentioned that he won't be running independent is because he knows it'll just pull votes away from the Democratic party, aka that means less votes for Trump's opponents. The media pretty much refuses to cover any candidates other than the ones from The Big Two parties for some back-asswards reason. Hillary may not be the best choice (I personally wouldn't vote for her), but Trump is a colossal titty-baby born with a silver spoon in his mouth who doesn't know how to properly portray any sensation in his speeches other than: 1) Smug 2) Outrage

He's a self proclaimed Trump supporter and supposedly wants to weaken the Democratic Party. I'm still not convinced he isn't just trolling though.
I'm having a hard time believing that she's 100% on board here, I mean she has been on Hillary's case in the past (mid 2000s) with regards to accepting donations from Credit Industries. Something tells me the endorsement is strictly in opposition to Trump.
If neither candidate suits you at all, then you have every right to decide not to vote.
It's naive to believe that there will at times be a candidate that matches your political beliefs to the T. You vote for the one that is most aligned with you, not wait for the one you hope will one day be completely aligned with you. There is no excuse for not voting. [editline]10th June 2016[/editline]
I would say Bernie has a much stronger case considering he was arrested for chaining himself to a black woman in the sixties.
That's not my point. People here seem to believe that since Bernie "fights for the people", therefore Clinton simply does not. Which is not the case at all. They have different strategies, different histories involving it, some more extreme, some less extreme. But that doesn't disqualify one or the other's political history as "not fighting for the people".

I'm just gonna quote this post from the STGYM thread since something's been bugging me.
I really don't know what to do for the election between Hillary and Trump. If I vote for Hillary, there'll be people pissed off at me and others for helping continuing the status quo and knowingly voting in a corrupt and shady person. If I vote for a third party candidate, there'll be people pissed off at me and others for giving the Democratic candidate less votes, which would allow Trump a better shot at presidency. If I play it "safe" and don't vote at all, there'll be people pissed at me and others for not being a contributing member of the country and its politics or some shit like that. And with any of these three choices, they'll be all like "you and the other idiots deserve whatever happens to you and this country for voting in x/not voting" (I know that people had said shit like this a couple times in the SH section). Even if I just said "Fuck em', I'll do whatever I want" and removed the possible BS reaction from consideration, I still won't really know what to do. Thankfully, I know that I'm definitely not going to be voting for Trump.
Like I said, it really doesn't fucking help that people in this section are blaming/condemning people and saying shit like "these people deserve whatever happens to them and America for their decision" and "you have no right to complain about what happens" while treating both of those statements like they're somehow objective fuckin' facts.

helping continuing the status quo

I thought people liked Obama
