Why obey the law if you don't have to?
That's completely different - he legally doesn't have to.
Or he evaded taxes, a federal crime.
If that's the case why isn't he in jail? The IRS has been down his throat for years trying to find something and they don't have shit.
If that's the case why isn't he in jail? The IRS has been down his throat for years trying to find something and they don't have shit.
I dunno but saying he was smart to avoid paying taxes is nonsense.
I dunno but saying he was smart to avoid paying taxes is nonsense.
If you are cleared to not have to pay taxes, would you? I sure as hell wouldn't.
Why pay taxes if you don't have to? He was smart about the whole thing tbh.
It's pretty easy to be smart when you have a bunch of lawyers being smart for you to be honest.
lack of evidence that a crime occurred doesnt stop the crime itself from having occurred, christ
Funny when it's the other way around. (Hillary)
Funny when it's the other way around. (Hillary)
Who cares about Clinton
"As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Hillary Clinton approaches 1" - Lambeth's law.
:v:
Who cares about Clinton
3 months after the election and those idiots will still use her as a defense mechanism. Kind of amazing.
Funny when it's the other way around. (Hillary)
Oi, Hilarry isnt the one in office. So actually adress what people are telling you.
Honestly I think just personally I'm the kind of person attuned for conservatism. I avoid risks and really don't like things like drinking, drugs, casual hookups, DEGENERACY, etc.. But I also research things like lgbt rights, economics, etc. and I have no options aside from the democrat party in the USA when it comes to voting because the republican party is typically goddamn retarded at best and downright evil at worst.
haha lmao what the fuck not liking drugs and alcohol is not a conservative thing like half of the 'Dab Kings' at my school are leaders in the young republican's club. Party hounds can be conservative.
If you are cleared to not have to pay taxes, would you? I sure as hell wouldn't.
Why are you defending a man who's obviously fucking you in the ass? Fucking all of us in the ass, really? I don't understand it, do you understand what taxes do? Do you understand what they're for? You're saying "Yeah, he fucked our society in the ass by not paying his fair share for our defense and a whole other slough of civic programs, but that doesn't make him a crook that makes him SMART! I wish I could be like him!" Wtf is this shit? [editline]27th February 2017[/editline] "Oh yeah, it'd be GREAT if taxes didn't exist, totally awesome... Wait what do you mean the roads are failing and why is there human shit in my food and drinking water isn't there supposed to be someone that makes sure that doesn't happen?"
george washington was an incompetent general
How so? I was under the impression that he did pretty well, all things considered.

I like what this thread has degraded into. :smug: Why wouldn't you applaud someone who found a way to work around taxes without being thrown in jail? I wish I could. Let's be real, even if not a good president, Trump is a smart man.

One is a crime, one is a loophole, don't confuse the two!

Let's be real, even if not a good president, Trump is a smart man.
Have you ever heard him speak? Might change your mind on that last sentence. 4th graders could demolish him in a spelling bee. "Unpresidented" lol. Trump's army of lawyers are what helps him evade taxes (read: break the law), and they, too, were the one's helping him squirm through bankruptcy courts. Has little to do with being smart and much to do with having money.

Not really sure how hiring a dude makes him smart.
He's never had to worry about being under a magnifying glass for spelling or grammar, and that does little to illustrate your intelligence in respect to the fact that he has earned more money than any of us ever will. You may not like him, but people making fun of his tweets doesn't mean the guy isn't brilliant with his money.
One is a crime, one is a loophole, don't confuse the two!
So what if we elected almost exclusively bank robbers to congress and they made it legal?
He definitely is a man who hired an accountant to get himself to pay less taxes. Not really sure how hiring a dude makes him smart.
He was smart enough to do it. :eng101s:

Anyone with a decent job would know that a million USD is not a hell of a lot in the grand scheme of things. And no, earning billions of dollars gives you some merit, though.
Anyone with a decent job would know that a million USD is not a hell of a lot in the grand scheme of things.
What?
Spelling isn't a good indicator of intelligence, but money is. :downs:
Neither are, really. While I would not consider myself particularly intelligent, I've gotten good exam results. Despite my dyslexia, which has rendered my spelling very... creative, at points.
Anyone with a decent job would know that a million USD is not a hell of a lot in the grand scheme of things. And no, earning billions of dollars gives you some merit, though.
It's more money than most people see in one place in their entire lifetimes. Nobody gives two coppers for the "grand scheme of things", just because he's a businessman with a bunch of financial advisors who dodge all his taxes doesn't make him clever or smart, it just makes him an asshole who doesn't discharge his obligations as a citizen.
What?
You read it. With a job in excess of 6 digits per annum in salary (and keep in mind this is a regular old job, not owning a business) which isn't terribly difficult to achieve, $1m sneaks up pretty quickly.
