Wow, this is awesome. Visual disorders are the worst so I'm glad a lot of progress is being made. In more selfish interests, I'd love to have these to monitor heart rate, blood sugar levels (well, that's stated in the article so :v:), blood oxygen levels, hydration levels and other cool junk while I exercise, provided that it's possible of course.
on the topic of exercise, maybe being able to see actual health stats represented as numbers would be able to serve as sufficient motivation for sad sacks of shit like me to actually get in shape because it probably feels like an uphill battle for a lot of people including myself
And store those pictures where?
Obviously it is linked to their android phone with a 128gb sdxc card it in
just let me be a robot already
I don't know what the fuss about contacts is about. When I first got them and finally got one in, I was surprised how they felt. I couldn't even tell I had them in unless I had them in for 14 or more hours, and only then because they would maybe slide around when I blinked every now and then
I remember my father telling me stories of how contacts were in the 70's and 80's. Would not have fucking wanted them then. More like hard plastic back then
You're very lucky, I wish I could wear them with no issues. Just because you don't have trouble doesn't mean other people don't, a large amount of people have sensitive eyes like mine and make it difficult to wear contacts for over an hour.
but did I ever ask
No, you never asked for this.
