I liked one thing in Heroes, and stopped watching it very quickly. Good for people who enjoyed it, but I'm probably not watching it unless it gets some heavy recommendation.
I love Heroes and am looking forward to this. One of the only thing I didn't quite like in the original series, was that near the end everyone and their mum had a power. (And I'm not talking about the future version).
I guess its a good thing for people who liked the show. I'm not one of them, so this is terrible, painful news to me. Bad enough my brother never shuts up about True Blood/Game Of Thrones/The Walking Dead, now Heroes is gonna be back in the mix.
The first season was great, and then they lost the plot.
The first season was great, and then they lost the plot.
That's because they abandoned the idea of changing the cast every season. The ending to Season 1 was great, they should have ended those character's story arcs there and started new, but they went down the comic book line of "killing" characters only to have them come back some bullshit explanation of "I nursed you back to health." And they played the whole vision of the future plot device way too much.

there's a few other things I'd like to be brought back, like BSG, although I don't know where they would go from the ending
Really glad they're doing new characters, I wonder where this ties in with the original Heroes plotline. Regardless, I hope they manage to bring back a bit of the wonder we saw in Season 1. I lost interest a little bit before the carnival, too much "ooh what a twist" repetition between the same original people.
I'm glad more shows are adopting the AHS-style "new plot every season" thing. It makes each season have a refreshing plot and cuts out the stupidly over-convoluted and hole-filled story arcs that kill so many TV shows.
Bring back claire bear please
Good. It kind of pissed me off that they ended the last season with a to be continued then killed off the show.
I'm hyperventilating right now
Also, Heroes. Loved watching that show with the family, and it also ended on a cliffhanger.
Hell yes. A little bit saddened that it's a new story and cast, but I'll still definitely check it out. Sweet.
