Man, all the naval bases I've been too here in WA have armed guards, heck they won't even let you near the premises.
what crazy person robs the army in 40 degree (celcius) weather
He must have planned it. Everyone would be chilling indoors due to the hot weather.
Two men of African descent were said to have fled the area in a gray moving van.
It'd be pretty difficult to escape in a stationary van.
I have to say, "let's rob it!" isn't the first thing that comes to mind when I think of a military installation. Someone is getting fired.
Turns out it was 14 handguns stolen. Bit odd, I personally would have gone for the Styers

Tied up guard and stole weapons. Sounds like a cartoon.
Was it this guy? My guess it that he disguised as one of the Service Members and just walked out of there with everybody going like: "Is that a new guy?"
I dunno, run of the mill thief's probably wouldn't be able to maintain them, and ammo for them isn't exactly easy to come buy.
No, the ammo is pretty easy to come by. It would probably in the top 5 hunting rounds in this country I'm thinking it's because you can't stuff a rifle down the front of your pants
I dunno, run of the mill thief's probably wouldn't be able to maintain them, and ammo for them isn't exactly easy to come buy.
Pretty sure anyone who have any experience in handling assault rifles would know how to maintain one, even if it'd be foreign design that you have never touched before. Also because internet.
Turns out it was 14 handguns stolen. Bit odd, I personally would have gone for the Styers
Pistols are easier to conceal and aren't as obvious as a Steyr, as to where exactly one got them from.
Pistols are easier to conceal and aren't as obvious as a Steyr, as to where exactly one got them from.
Plus I'm pretty sure you can't buy the modified military version of them, F88, but then again I could be wrong, I've only handled them whilst in cadets and never seen them at a gun shop or anything.
Pistols are easier to conceal and aren't as obvious as a Steyr, as to where exactly one got them from.
exactly, pistols are easier to use in crime.
Looks like some action movie stuff. Bad guys stole a nuclear bomb and now daniel craig is gonna hunt them down.
sounds like an inside job if i'm reading this correctly, because who could tell where the armory EXACTLY was and who exactly would have the keys to it. also sounds like someone is getting their door blown in soon
