It's silly that the we have to pay for someone else's education.

The problem with the government is that it's just a giant hole where money goes in and out of. It never goes in to a reservoir, and it is always spent, and never saved. Companies on the other hand, when you pay, you are still paying for other people, but you are also paying for yourself, and it goes in to a reservoir for the company to use.
lol, you're so dumb. It's silly we pay for education? How's about it's silly we have to pay for prisoners? Prioritize your bitching you asshole.
Yes, even though the question is not directed at me. People who are rich deserve to be rich because they worked hard all though school. They probably got all A's got scholarships and worked hard all though college.
If you are poor more than likely you can thank your parents for that. They had just as much of a chance as a World-renowned surgeon.
I wish I could be so idealistic about the world
Edit: Rich people can afford to pay for all of the medical schools and colleges and all kinds of extra education. Poor people have other things to worry about
lolwhat.
We would have been in The Great Depression II if the stimulus bill didn't go through.

lol
you can control how much money you make.
Where did you gain this supernatural ability?
lol
Ever heard of a president called Hoover?
If people are whining for healthcare they should have thought about it in the long run. Everyone has the same chance as anyone else. If they work hard in school they can get scholarships and go to college start a family and afford insurance. On the other hand, if you don't, drop out, and don't get a job and live off welfare...what do you expect? No one is going to give you hand outs all the time....OH WAIT we have a Democrat as a president I forgot.
srsly
Andrew Carnegie didn't even go to High School and he became one of the first Steel Tycoons and the most richest man in America in his time.
Rockerfeller was a nomadic scam doctor for his early life and sold snake oil New York. He became the founder of Standard Oil and is currently the Richest American of all time.
Milton Hershey dropped out of 4th Grade but instead, he founded the world's most famous chocolate company.
None of these people were educated, so your assumption that Rich People worked hard at school and got scholarships is entirely stupid.
People are rich because they had a golden opportunity, got lucky, or were rich when they were born. Once you're rich it's incredibly easy to stay rich

I forgot to mention, I'm pretty sure a garbage man works much harder than someone who day trades a stock to get $4,000; which they can only do because they have the wealth to do it in the first place
We would have been in The Great Depression II if the stimulus bill didn't go through.
Ok seriously, this current recession ain't shit compared to the depression. I'll be honest, I don't know whether the Stimulus did anything, but I really doubt the recession would have gotten THAT bad

Uhh, this was back when a lot of stuff were unthought of, you can't "drop out of 4th grade and start a massive company" because any new thing you want to make takes a lot of education to do so.
For example, back in the 1970's, Bill Gates dropped outta HS and made Microsoft, it got successful because it was the best, and one of the only companies, but now, you can't do that because there are already bigger and better ones that would run you into the ground. And now, if you wanted to make a new industry, you'd need a lot of education because the new things that can be made an industry are complex things, such as cloning and shit. AKA: Work hard, and you can be rich, but it's unlikely you'll be billionaire rich.
so obama has to pay money for his sins to be forgiven by a priest why doesn't he go to confession at church xD
Yeah taxes should pay for things like teachers, or firefighters or policemen, or fixing roads or bridges. Paying taxes for Social Security for the blind is something I agree with. They con not control that they are blind. However, you can control how much money you make.
Yep, my father totally had control over the fact that he had a pay cut in the past year so now he only makes as much as he did starting out 10 years ago because of the economy's horrid state (he works at Ford).
He works 3 jobs. And one of those jobs has a measly pay, but it gets our family health insurance. The only reason we aren't in poverty is because he works that hard. My mom has a job. I'm applying for a job to help build up a fund for college. And my sister is getting a job as well.

Go Away Troll
anyone who says it's easy to make money are 15 year olds who don't have a job, probably think/are living in a rich/upper-middle class family, and don't know nothin bout nothin
Am I the only one who thinks this is awful? Hooray, America took another step towards socialism. It's unconstitutional to force someone to buy anything, even insurance. This is fucking stupid, and you're plain dumb if you think this is a good thing. Sure, it helps people without money, but they probably don't have money for a reason, like most people on welfare. So hooray, I get to work my ass off to pay for the lazy assholes in the country. It would seem they're taking away any incentive to become rich because you'll just get taxed to hell. Way to punish someone for their abilities you fucking asshole government. When we crash into the ground, just remember that I fucking called it.
you're an absolute monster.
oh god forbid that you would help someone who is destitute.
I mean, if they can't afford healthcare they should just die right? Yeah, leechers of the state!!11

Depends where you live. In some places (ie places where too little people are employed and there are too many jobs available) you can make money fairly easy.

Not a good amount, maybe enough to live by, but not...y'know.

I don't really see why/how they're able to force people to buy insurance.
[editline]03:54PM[/editline]
You never specified how much.
well i was referring to the "it's fairly easy to control how much money you make" which it isn't.
[editline]03:55PM[/editline]
Wait...what kind of places have a low employment rate, but still have a lot of jobs?
I don't really see why/how they're able to force people to buy insurance.

You get fines.

I think there was a place in Ohio or something that had tons of jobs and everybody was employed and there were too many open jobs.

bollocks.
it's very easy to veil this entire thing saying "It breaches invididual liberty" etc, but what it comes down to is that snake doesn't want to have to spend his money on anything he doesn't directly benefit from.

I support the bill, don't worry, but It's just...I don't know, It's not really fair to FORCE (not literally FORCE, but otherwise they pay fines) people to pay for insurance, even if it's the logical choice or not, they should be able to do whatever they want.
The only problem I see is that all the shit this bill still contains, government health care would be nice expect the fact that this contains so much useless shit that is tacked on. Expecialy the part about student loans, how the fuck does that relate with healthcare?
[editline]05:01PM[/editline]

Yeah, if only there wasn't way more than a few hundred kids in America.

There's this thing called eye for an eye, blaw blaw blaw.
Something something greed something something capitalism.
something elss about something relating to how you make a pretty good point.
For those asking about the student loans: that didn't just pop up out of nowhere and get pushed through, it was a seperate bill called the Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act and was passed by the House in September.

You're on the way to becoming a good country
You obviously don't actually understand the bill.
You obviously don't actually understand the bill.
He said on the way.
This bill is a huge piece of shit, but it's necessary for the US to move forward in terms of getting universal health care.
You obviously don't actually understand the bill.
I don't think you understood the post, the Bill is a step in the right direction, he did not say that we will be getting universal healthcare, he just said we're getting to a good place.

If anything the bill will make students less responsible.
