Meet Mohammed Ahmed.
The 21-year-old was one of scores of men arrested in a prostitution sweep conducted last week by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office in Florida. According to investigators, the alleged john answered an online ad posted by an undercover detective posing as a hooker.
He couldn't had picked a better time.
He's got that "Well, I guess that's it" look on his face.
Ah, but what you don't hear is that the hooker was for the Wife too~!
21 is kind of young to be getting hitched, don't you think?
yeah that's polk county alright
this is so unethical. i mean as long as there are men, u can guarantee u will have someone answer the ad. this doesn't prevent shit. good job police force, time well spent. i bet u saved lives this man looks ruthless

Entrapment is illegal, baiting should be too.

Entrapment tricks people into committing crimes. Baiting catches people who were going to commit that crime anyway.
Entrapment would be asking someone to hold a bag of weed for a moment and arresting them when they touch it. Baiting would be advertising a sale and arresting those who buy.
Mohammed Ahmed, is that the ethnic equivalent of a guy named Jim Bob?

Yes, that is what I am saying. I do not believe that (under some circumstances) it is ethical to bait people into committing crimes in which there is no victim, such as this one.
man this guy's an asshole.
Here's a video of the bust.

Entrapment tricks people into committing crimes they wouldn't have committed otherwise, important to mention that.

in that case, wouldn't the problem be that it's considered crime rather than the fact that baiting was used to catch the "criminal"?

That becomes an issue of morals and culture. In some places prostitution isn't a crime.

Depends on the people in the relationship.
