So, for once ANTIFA didn't throw rocks, start a riot and harm pedestrians?
Wow, must be a big day for you guys!
Yeah when AntiFa or RF counter demos here you can be 99% sure shits gonna go down. I don't get the purpose of counter demos anyway, they are retarded. Demo for whatever you want but counter demos are like saying "you shouldn't be able to voice your opinion" and they only end up bringing more attention to the thing they were counter demoing against in the first place. Ironically enough AntiFa and RF are being authoritarian and radical themselves while trying to fight those things.

It's not anti-free speech to voice your disagreement. Counter demonstrations are visible ways of proving that you find the other group's opinions disgusting and unacceptable. You have a right to say whatever you want, but not to have others to accept it.

But you can voice your disagreement somewhere else, why demo at the same place at the same time if you aren't trying to disrupt or silence the demo you are demoing against?

Why go somewhere else to say you disagree with someone, when the people who you're disagreeing with will never hear or see it? It's the same way there's protests at things like G7 Summits, visibility and an attempt to provide a clear alternative to what is being said and sold at the original demonstrations and events.
Counter demonstrations don't silence people unless they're carried out violently. Violence usually doesn't occur at counter protests.

Alright so you are basically trying to steal their venue? That makes some sense at least but if you have a good message you shouldn't have to do that and people you disagree with will hear you if you are marching down the streets, otherwise demonstrations would be useless. Still though, I have never thought about it that way and you have a point.

That's not my experience of them and I've seen more than a few. The anti-fascist movements here are notorious for hurting innocent people and causing public disorder and for good reason. RF in particular openly hunt down people they disagree with and beat them or/and destroy their property. The left is responsible for a much bigger portion of threats and violence according to BRÅ which keeps track of crimes in Sweden.
There was an interesting case in my city a few years ago that made national news. When a small nazi movement were having a peaceful demonstration and RF together with many from AntiFa attacked, one anti-fascist named Showan got stabbed in self defence. His friend then stabbed another nazi in the back several times but Swedish RF and AntiFa sees nothing wrong with this behaviour. They publicly declared both Showan and his friend heroes together with many other not so far left organizations and now the shitstain is used as a symbol for a just cause.
I just try to keep my distance whenever there is a demonstration but I guess counter demonstrations carried out peacefully kinda makes sense.
AFA and RF are at far-left extremists, and shouldn't be lumped together with the general concept of anti-fascism.
They're basically reverse militant Nazis.
