Yea well, FP is no way left leafing because if it were, you can guaranteed people who shitposts alt-right stuff like *redacted* would have been already permabanned. Like others said, maybe it will be for americans but for Europeans and others, is in a delicated balance going into the right each 2-3 months. However, although FP has a problem with toxicity ( which thankfully seems we managed to reduce it to only SH and Polidicks zones ), there's no way you can consider this place as a echo chamber, especially when there are other places with worse or directly no moderation like 4Chan or Reddit. Those places are cringy as fuck. ---- Facebook is just avoiding taking responsabilities here. Like happens with Google and Twitter, they know which kind of content is being posted, so is really easy to restrige or even block the flood of fake news and other bullshit, as well as listening once for all to the users and delete those who dedicates to mass spam, harass or even suplant identities. All multicorporations have the same weakness: they are being moved by only greed, and as such, money is their weak point. The second the countries starts sueing them for all of this, you can bet the changes are going to be in a blink of an eye. But of course, that's the easiest part. Convincing a country to do not give free pass to a giant is another story...
