A symptom of withdrawal from anything you enjoy greatly is increased aggression. Clearly the brain is the issue here and brains should be made illegal.
Do you really have to rely on these personal stories? Telling a personal story is the worst way to make an argument for many many different reasons. I'm not telling you that there is no link between aggression, the scientists that conduct these studies are. But yes you are correct in that a symptom from marijuana withdrawal is increased aggression, but backing that up with a personal story isn't a way to make an argument. My argument prior was that being under the influence isn't at all going to escalate your aggression like it does with alcohol.
How is personal experience not fact? Just because I can't prove it doesn't mean anything. Perhaps you'd like me to go back in time to that night where I was almost murdered with a fucking kitchen knife? Take some pictures maybe?
I'm not a scientist, but it doesn't mean I'm wrong either. Scientists make the same kind of evaluations as I do, the only difference is they get paid to do it and people take them more seriously. Saying my personal experiences are not evidence enough to back up my claims makes just as much sense as posting a source to a website where someone made a graph that may or may not be accurate.
All I'm trying to get across here is I don't understand what is so good about pot. Yes I have tried it and I absolutely hated it. And to become reliant on it to enjoy my day makes no sense either. Defending a drug that gives you a temperary buzz with risks of several side effects you may or may not agree with makes no sense to me.

Oh real mature. Should I take that as evidence that you're no older than 15? Wear tight jeans that stop circulation to your legs and randomly say "that's gay" to anything you deem uncool?

No, instead you should take the fact that your anecdotal evidence is persuading nobody as evidence that you need to stop posting.
A symptom of withdrawal from anything you enjoy greatly is increased aggression. Clearly the brain is the issue here and brains should be made illegal.
Yep. Marijuana is not physically addictive, and so 'withdrawal' symptoms vary entirely from person to person, based on their overall personality traits, what moods they've often been in before smoking up, how it changes their mood from their baseline. It's not the drug, it's the person's predisposition to be affected a certain way.
No, instead you should take the fact that your anecdotal evidence is persuading nobody as evidence that you need to stop posting.
That's the first thing you've said all night that I actually agree with.

I really don't see why there should be a big deal about a celebrity doing drugs. In my opinion, only fictional characters have the ability to be true role models. There should be no expectation that any real person can be a role model.

Your personal stories are absolutely meaningless. It doesn't even matter what you say and how accurate you're telling it. If you or anybody else tries to make a claim based off a personal story, what they are backing up their claim with is just complete crap.
You can get into credibility and so forth, for example: a great guitar player telling you a story with some meaning about guitars behind it, but that is far different because it is an expert telling you a personal story regarding what they are an expert in. Maybe not the best example, but these are some of the basic building blocks in making an argument. If you are really clueless about this, look it up.
Almost nobody relies on pot to enjoy their day. Frequent smokers may get into a cycle like that, but in most case it gets boring and they decide to sober up for a while because it isn't fun any more. The people that are likely to go through this is likely to be small in number because not many people smoke all that frequently for many different reasons, the two biggest reasons being tolerance and money.
To me it makes perfect sense to defend people's use of the drug because the negative effects are minimal and people should have a right to their style of life. If somebody wants to spend their life just getting high all day, it is their choice.
Immediately after her contract expired, looks like no more Hanna Montana. At least one pillar of disneys corporate arsenal is gone, now only 1,000,000,000,000 more to go.
Why Saliva? That's the worst, everyone has bad trips on that....
Why Saliva? That's the worst, everyone has bad trips on that....
Most people have great trips. The appeal of it is that it screws you up to an insane amount. The intensity is out of many people's comfort zone, but that's part of the appeal. The best times I've had being high are always when I'm way too high and out of my comfort zone. At the present moment of going through it, I may not feel all that comfortable, but after I just wish I could have another experience similar to it just because it was so crazy.

This post made you look bad. You want to be that good guy and speak out just things people like, without speaking things people don't like. You are granted to become someones bitch later in life.
Are you a politician or something?
I wonder if she's done marijuana. I am guessing she has, but in that case I don't know why there would be a big deal about her doing this on her birthday. It makes me a bit unsure if she'd done weed.
.
My point was that what I say shouldn't be any less valid than that of a scientist. For all you know I am one. We only know what scientists tell us. Do you have any idea how much important information we are missing out on because scientists doesn't think it's important enough or because the government wants to control what we learn each day. Who cares about planets we'll never go to or galaxies we'll never hear of again. Personal experiences and observations cannot be censored and happen to everyone on a daily basis.
So again, to say that my experiences are invalid because I don't have a PhD does not make what I have to say any less true. That's like me saying you're sources are invalid because they could have been written by some crackpot conspiracy theorist. Just because it's possible, doesn't mean that's the case in that particular situation.
Really? The problem is that she's the star of a children's TV show and has many young girls look up to her. It's not that she smoked salvia, but that she's an influential person and should know better than to do things like this.
why would smoking salvia be a bad thing
naive jackass
The problem is millions of parents will look at this and scream it's horrible and make Salvia illegal, even though it's as harmless as Marijuana.

Marijuana? Harmless? I guess you're right... the only harm done is eternal damnation in a fiery lake of sulfur.
it had to happen, just wait for disney to see this and get another blonde.
Who really cares? I think the sooner people stop shitting a brick about it, the better off we'll all be.
legalize all drugs
[editline]11th December 2010[/editline]
except for meth
WHy does everyone say weed is harmless? All drugs are potentially dangerous depending on several variables such as; 1) The user, 2) The concentration/frequency of use 3) It's origins. Those are three things I can think of on the top of my head and I'm sure there are others too.
Weed for example is dangerous in a sense that it alters judgement. Why is it that 90% of pot smokers don't give a shit about anything? Enjoy sitting on their asses all day playing video games, listening to music and vegitating. Every pot smoker I've known have gone from smart A grade students to hooligans. I've seen pot smokers go from one drug to a more dangerous drug just because they like to feel the "buzz" and the old stuff just doesn't do it anymore. One thing leads to another and you got yourself a classic case of low life.
Salvia I don't know much about to be honest, I've only witnessed someone do it once and they didn't have that much of a trip anyways. So as far as I know it's not as dangerous, especially as the effects don't last long at all. However with it being psychadelic I can't help but wonder how it affects the brain.
In short, pot smokers blindly defend pot even though it's easy to get despite it's illegal status anyway so anyones argument is invalid. And Salvia is just retarded anyways.
I agree with this 10000000%. I couldn't have said it more perfect.

Move to Portugal all drugs are legal.
The only thing that video did was showing was how incredibly lame people who go to parties are...
Girls always do this. They assume that whatever drug it is that they're doing is going to hit them instantly, so they instantly start acting like they're feeling the effects. Attention whore antics.
