I am thoroughly convinced that a smart child will end up relatively intelligent regardless of environment and circumstance.=
Studies have shown that students with access to better education have better education.
Oh man it's almost like how did we even survive all those hundreds of years WITHOUT needles in our bodies? What else in the world can protect us from disease so effecti- oh wait we had immune systems and proper hygiene...
i too would like to have a life expectancy of 25
I fully intend to. Is this seriously the kind backlash i can expect for questioning science on FP? Even just a little by asking basic questions and at least trying to be the devil's advocate? Remind me to never be skeptical on FP again. Just trust big pharma and everything will be ok. :v:
Big pharma is the reason you don't have any one of the many infectious diseases that have been wiped out by vaccinations. Without those medications you'd have a good chance of being too dead to complain about medications right now.
I'm going to start a metal band, and this is going to be my stage name
And this is why you should never depend blindly on autocorrect
Cars-Benefit- No horses, intercity travel at 55-65 MPH and larger scale transportation of goods. Downsides: traffic accidents and less horses overall.
You skimmed over the massive amounts of pollution caused by the auto industry.
You're the reason we need better schooling.
Yeah, our current indoctrination isn't nearly effective enough if skeptics like me still exist. [editline]29th June 2015[/editline]
"drunk drivers prove that cars cause alcoholism" < - respect my beliefs and thoughts ffs!!!!
Ok this actually made me laugh.
imagine shitposting this bad
You skimmed over the massive amounts of pollution caused by the auto industry.
Which pollutants, specifically? The ones that are common to most industrial manufacturers, or the air pollution from cars themselves?
Good to see how dependent you are on their protection.
Look out guys, better swear off all capitalistically-managed everything. That food you're eating? It was made on a farm for cash. Better not eat it. That water? It was sourced and pumped by a utility company. Clearly they're out to get your money, so better stop drinking it. And your house? Don't even get me started...

If you hate modern technology so much, why don't you just go live out in the woods where you don't have to experience any of it? Forage for berries and hunt deer with a hand-made bow, like we used to thousands and thousands of years ago.
I fully intend to.
So when are you going to get on this instead of posting conspiracy garbage
Which pollutants, specifically? The ones that are common to most industrial manufacturers, or the air pollution from cars themselves?
Both count.
Look out guys, better swear off all capitalistically-managed everything. That food you're eating? It was made on a farm for cash. Better not eat it. That water? Don't even get me started...
Actually you're right about this. capitalistically-managed food has preservatives and other artificial junk in it. Capitalistically-managed water has fluoride in it. And capitalistically-managed housing costs too much. I'd rather be eating forest plants and drinking spring water living in a van thousands of miles from civilization, never to post conspiracy garbage again, but i might have to save up for a while. It's a long term goal. Mocking me and saying i should just walk out and leave civilization cold turkey is stupid.
imagine shitposting this bad
Ok, you got me, i'm kiiiind of halfway between shitposting and trying to play the devil's advocate and laugh at how much faith you guys have in science. Most of you have called off the institutional Christian God as complete baloney, so why not worship modern medicine instead? I just wish the guy that started this would show up and agree with me, since all I'm doing is just being skeptical/looking at things with my own reasoning. I don't have that much personal experience.
You skimmed over the massive amounts of pollution caused by the auto industry.
Ok, the pollution is a problem, but by comparison to the benefits of all the individuals affected by it having personal mobility to go more than a hundred miles casually in a day as a standard, those that are deep within supercities getting fresh food including milk, and the speed of which you can request a physical item to be delivered to you or your post office and it being there. Oh yeah, and you getting an ambulance in an extremely short period of time, thus increasing your chances of survival of even heart attacks massively. The balancing factors could get even more difficult to compare. Yeah; they pollute a bit more than they should, but we are in the process of decreasing that pollution level and designing vehicles that pollute based on the input source of the electricity that they are charged with. Which, by the way, is less polluting even if you were using coal to power and recharge due to the efficiency of the energy extraction from the coal. Also, on your everything has downsides: what is the downside of multivitamins, as I stated rather than nitpicking on my missing a thing about vehicles. Do you know how much you sound like the latter?
Artificial does not equate harmful. Flouride makes water more beneficial to humans than regular water. Housing is expensive in some places and cheap in others, welcome to Earth. You say you're using your own reasoning yet your own reasoning is baseless "The man is out to get you, artificial = bad" garbage.
Why don't you actually go live in a forest and stop shitposting (User was banned for this post ("Don't feed the troll" - Craptasket))
And when you do move to the forest please find some way of sending us your GPS coordinates so I can go over and throw Polio on you and we can test that hygiene theory. (User was banned for this post ("Don't feed the troll" - Craptasket))
vaccines helped to secure modern countries from dangers of mass widespread 'known' dissesases most of them were deadly in Europe it helped also decrease death rate between children several times in fact, due to massive surge of immigrants from Africa/Middle-East it's been discussed we need re-introduce some vaccines which were phased out as not needed ... being against vaccines is really bad as there are illnesses we aren't naturally capable to fight (most of the deadly illnesses have 20 to 99% mortality rate vs those who aren't immune)
it would be pretty terrible if they accidently sterilized all those children, would make a good film tho NEXT STOP: Africa and the Mid-east. Those places need some real vaccinations against all kinds of diseases, although, is it worth it?
i too would like to have a life expectancy of 25
More like forty we have hand washing and better technology now.
