1) Rehabilitate them and then reintegrate them with society when they have paid their dues to their victim if applicable
if that doesn't work, 2) Keep them isolated from society so they can't hurt anyone else

What does "punishment" accomplish? No one is saying do nothing and just let them get away with it. We're saying that they should be locked up but REHABILITATED while incarcerated. You know, the whole point of incarceration is to rehabilitate the person and help them reintegrate into society.

You look at these children murderer rapists as just blank humans, you see them the same as someone you see walking down the street (lets assume they're innocent of anything like that, they probably are). Wanting these people dead doesn't make me as bad as them, THEY wanted a child raped and murdered, I just want the person that goes through with shit like that dead.
