Really? Religion causes war too, it might make some crazy shit happen with protiens. Religion has never caused a war, only man has.
Man starts wars inspired by religion. Even if this guy saved a girl and said god inspired him, he'd still have to GO TO A DOCTOR.
Really? Religion causes war too, it might make some crazy shit happen with protiens. Religion has never caused a war, only man has.
Man wages a war because of religion.
The Pope: Had power due to religion. Stalin: Got the same power without the influence of religion. Any questions? You don't need religion to make excuses for killing off disgusting amounts of people.
You are correct, Stalin did not get any power thanks to religion. But he sure as hell kept it around to keep his people in line, including when he killed all those people. It kept people thinking that if they kept doing the 'right thing', they would not be taken away and killed, despite the knowledge provided otherwise. It kept people happy and stupid. You guys know not all Christians hate science right, a lot actually like it, use it and practice medicine. A radical does not mean all Christians are like this
Really? Religion causes war too, it might make some crazy shit happen with protiens. Religion has never caused a war, only man has.
...You're contradictive about everything. Read my post. You can't reply within reason, and you know it.
No it doesn't.
Then obviously you have no Faith. Because it works for me, and you can't prove otherwise.
I'm all for prayer and it does work... Praying for miracles does not work...
I lol'd.
You guys no not all Christians hate science right, a lot actually like it
This isn't about all christians, just the unreasonable ones.
Blissful ignorance makes me happy! I killed someone else with my blissful ignorance in life? Doesn't matter to me! I'm blissfully ignorant of this fact! :D
I haven't killed anyone. I've lived my life chill. There's no proof, so I'm honestly skeptical of both side. That's that. If someone presented proof that I'm yet to see, I'd believe.
You guys no not all Christians hate science right, a lot actually like it
I realize this, but that doesn't make Christians right in their beliefs at all.
Then obviously you have no Faith. Because it works for me, and you can't prove otherwise.
But you can't prove that it does. It could be anything, it's also more than likely the Placebo effect.
I lol'd.
Out of context stuff is out of context, you make me lol, the two statements are not contradictory.
Then obviously you have no Faith. Because it works for me, and you can't prove otherwise.
Faith: A belief in something without any supporting evidence what so ever.
I haven't killed anyone. I've lived my life chill. There's no proof, so I'm honestly skeptical of both side. That's that. If someone presented proof that I'm yet to see, I'd believe.
I honestly don't see what you're trying to prove. That it's good to ignore facts? Help me out here.
You are correct, Stalin did not get any power thanks to religion. But he sure as hell kept it around to keep his people in line, including when he killed all those people.
I haven't killed anyone.
But the guy in the article did. You're arguing that this guy's perfectly justified in living life by a system that ended up with the death of his daughter by his own inaction.
I haven't killed anyone. I've lived my life chill. There's no proof, so I'm honestly skeptical of both side. That's that. If someone presented proof that I'm yet to see, I'd believe.
Your ignorance could kill. Just like it DID kill in this situation. Yet you still think it's a good way to live.
I honestly don't see what you're trying to prove. That it's good to ignore facts? Help me out here.
What facts?
But you can't prove that it does. It could be anything, it's also more than likely the Placebo effect.
Then we agree to disagree. Since either point can't be proven definitive.
Out of context stuff is out of context, you make me lol, the two statements are not contradictory.
Yes they are. They are direct contradictions to each other, even in context, or did you not read your own writing?
Then we agree to disagree. Since either point can't be proven definitive.
Agreeing to disagree is fucking stupid. HEY SHUT UP YOU! LEMME BE IGNORAT YOU ASSHOL.
Then obviously you have no Faith. Because it works for me, and you can't prove otherwise.
I never understood what faith really means. They say it's believing in something that makes absolutely no sense so I can play to a fucking condom and when people say it does nothing I can just say "WELL I HAVE MY FAITH HURRRR" In other words it's another word for delusion.
What facts?
That medicine can heal things? That there are tons of reasons why ignorance is bad?
I realize this, but that doesn't make Christians right in their beliefs at all.
So freedom of religion means nothing?
Then we agree to disagree. Since either point can't be proven definitive.
Ah, but point is that your point is not proven to be true. You ask him to disprove yours, but that's a burden of proof logical fallacy.
I never understood what faith really means. They say it's believing in something that makes absolutely no sense so I can play to a fucking condom and when people say it does nothing I can just say "WELL I HAVE MY FAITH HURRRR" In other words it's another word for delusion.
Faith: belief that is not based on proof.
That medicine can heal things? That there are tons of reasons why ignorance is bad?
What facts are there that God doesn't exist? None. What facts are there that God does exist? None. Find me some facts.
So freedom of religion means nothing?
Nope. You're allowed to believe whatever you want, doesn't mean we have to respect that. If thier beliefs hurt others, that also is a breach of their belief. You're beliefs really can only go so far, but never as far as hurting others.
What facts?
You said it's good to be ignorant. Ignorance is ignoring facts. You say it's good to ignore facts.
No it doesn't.
I love how you are not only way too straightforward with your posts, but you also ignore other points people are trying to make.
