What facts are there that God doesn't exist? None. What facts are there that God does exist? None. Find me some facts.
Burden of proof logical fallacy. AND YOU'RE THE ONE ARGUING FOR SKEPTICISM.
Faith: belief that is not based on proof.
I know. Even some christians I know say that that's what it means. It's like they know their religion is screwed up.
So freedom of religion means nothing?
Freedom of religion is kind of silly, but I don't really want to get into human rights to believe whatever people want to believe, but basically, I don't think people have a right to make their decisions based of faith when they impact anyone besides themselves.
You said it's good to be ignorant. Ignorance is ignoring facts. You say it's good to ignore facts.
If accepting this fact would be detrimental to you why accept it?
What facts are there that God doesn't exist? None. What facts are there that God does exist? None. Find me some facts.
Not the argument, artful dodger.
Yes they are. They are direct contradictions to each other, even in context, or did you not read your own writing?
Praying works, for a variety of things. Praying for miracles, like your diabetic daughter suddenly getting better, does not. Perhaps you should have read it again. Or do you just like arguing about semantics?
What facts are there that God doesn't exist? None. What facts are there that God does exist? None. Find me some facts.
What are the facts that I have an invisible castle on the far side of the moon? None.
Burden of proof logical fallacy. AND YOU'RE THE ONE ARGUING FOR SKEPTICISM.
Where the fuck are my facts? You're the one who keeps saying I'm ignoring facts. No, I'm the only one not making up facts. Jesus.
I know. Even some christians I know say that that's what it means. It's like they know their religion is screwed up.
Believe it or not, some crazy people actually like to base their philosophies on things that are not tangible, real, or logically justifiable.
What facts are there that God doesn't exist? None. What facts are there that God does exist? None. Find me some facts.
What facts are there that Santa doesn't exist as a physical being that delivers presents?
Where the fuck are my facts? You're the one who keeps saying I'm ignoring facts. No, I'm the only one not making up facts. Jesus.
Non-sequitur. When will the fallacies end?
Praying works, for a variety of things. Praying for miracles, like your diabetic daughter suddenly getting better, does not. Perhaps you should have read it again. Or do you just like arguing about semantics?
Prayer is counting the hits and ignoring the misses.
If accepting this fact would be detrimental to you why accept it?
If you know it's a fact, you don't accept it, you know it. You just choose to ignore it.
What facts are there that Santa doesn't exist as a physical being that delivers presents?
Where are your facts that God never and doesn't exist?
Praying works, for a variety of things. Praying for miracles, like your diabetic daughter suddenly getting better, does not. Perhaps you should have read it again. Or do you just like arguing about semantics?
The results of prayers are essentially miracles, you however said praying for miracles does not work, after having said prayer works. What does prayer work for? Self absolution from the problem? Yeah, that's about it.
Freedom of religion is kind of silly, but I don't really want to get into human rights to believe whatever people want to believe, but basically, I don't think people have a right to make their decisions based of faith when they impact anyone besides themselves.
Exactly this isn't a debate of religion, this is a debate of who is entitled to ones right to live. I do not agree with what the father did and I am a christian, we need to get some form of law passed on this, giving the child the right to choose
Where are your facts that God never and doesn't exist?
Burden of proof is on you. Not us. Duuuurrr.
Non-sequitur. When will the fallacies end?
You're dodging my question. Give me facts.
Exactly this isn't a debate of religion, this is a debate of who is entitled to ones right to live
Great way to ignore my post..
Praying works, for a variety of things. Praying for miracles, like your diabetic daughter suddenly getting better, does not. Perhaps you should have read it again. Or do you just like arguing about semantics?
Praying works for what things? It might make more sense if your post wasn't so damn vague. [editline]02:43AM[/editline]
You're dodging my question. Give me facts.
You're dodging the logical fallacies inherent in your asking of the question. Your question does not need to be answered. It is invalid.
You're dodging my question. Give me facts.
Burden of proof is on you. Not us. Not him, You. You can't answer anything.
Where are your facts that God never and doesn't exist?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burden_of_proof_(logical_fallacy)
You're dodging my question. Give me facts.
Wow I've never seen such a hypocritical person on this forum.
And maybe those people were better off happy than knowing the truth and feeling horrible about it?
They were happy for all those years until stalin died. Shame about all those people he killed, while the common people were happy being inactive. To think: If they acted, they would have been happy AND alive. And why would they feel horrible? They were still getting killed off. They probably felt horrible and scared the whole time, but religion made it so they thought 'maybe it will be over tomorrow'. Spoiler: It wasn't.
You're dodging my question. Give me facts.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burden_of_proof_(logical_fallacy)
Burden of proof is on you. Not us. Duuuurrr.
read other half I addressed your issue, the man is obviously mixed ub as no where in the bible does it say you cannot use medicine
Jawalt, you are essentially a walking contradiction. You're a hypocrite in the worst way.
The results of prayers are essentially miracles,
Since when?
..you however said praying for miracles does not work, after having said prayer works. What does prayer work for? Self absolution from the problem? Yeah, that's about it.
Those who believe in Self Absolution, or absolution by catholic priests are delusional, since neither can absolve you of anything.
I still see, no facts that God doesn't exist, what so ever. While here I have a book, that has personal accounts that he does. What personal accounts of god not existing do you have?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burden_of_proof_(logical_fallacy)
>facts >wikipedia what
