How 'bout he just takes them to the hospital. Do you really, really think that after you get treatment for something like diabetes from doctors who have studied medicine for years, god really intervened at any point?

I hope the man get's a manslaughter charge, or at the very least some sort of huge negligence charge, his own child is dead just because of his ignorance.
Actually, there is a thing that you can be put in jail for called "Depraved Heart." It's when a person has an obvious disregard for a human life and that disregard leads to death.
I.E. Letting someone fall off of a cliff when you can help them, or not healing your sick daughter.
It results in a Second Degree Murder charge or Manslaughter.
Every thread concerning religion ends up in atheists calling Christians dumbass weak-minded sheeple and Christians calling atheists evil Devil-worshiping murderers. You people should know this by now.

Well, let's hope he gets murder. Let's hope he is found guilty and possibly killed in prison. Let's see his prayers get him out of that.

I would sooner worship him than god, but I don't believe either exists, so they're always wrong.
The internet is a very biased place isn't it
The internet allows collaboration and the sharing of ideas. I know that if I was sheltered from the internet, my view on life would be very different. In fact, I was VERY sheltered, and single minded before being in the huge discussions on the internet.

I have come to the conclusion that praying has no benefits other than making someone feel better. This man cared more about his excuse to god and having peace of mind, than his daughter. He should never have been allowed to have kids in the first place.
If there is a hell, may he go there.

I'm going to move across the street from you and put up a giant neon sign that says RELIGION.

A friend of mine has a little card that hangs from his rear-view mirror that has two hands together and says "Pray Hard."
Makes me laugh.
I don't think they should have prosecuted him, I mean i think he should have taken her to the doctor.
Oh Well
Something my pastor told me once:
An old, heavily religious man was in the middle of a serious flood. His house was being surrounded by water by the minute. His neighbor ran over to his house to let him know to get out and follow him to high ground. He turned him down, saying "God told me he would save me from this flood." He got on the roof, to wait for God's deliverance. Eventually, the water was in his front door.
He prayed to God to save him, he whaled and begged for Him to work a miracle. Soon, a rescue boat came along. The rescue workers called to him to get off the roof and they would help him get in the boat. He refused, saying he was going to hold to his faith that could move mountains, and God would save him.
He prayed more, he asked God why He hadn't sent a miracle yet, he asked what he could have done to bring such judgment. Trees were swept away around him and the water was to his ankles. Then a helicopter spotted him and lowered a basket down to him. Again, he refused, saying he was sure God would save His children.
The rushing water finally broke the supports on the house, and he was swept away. In his mind he asked God why he had forsaken him as he said in the bible he wouldn't. Then, in the flotsam were two life vests. He did not grab it. Again he told himself that God would save him at any moment. He became tired and couldn't hold his breath any longer. They found his body ten days later, 20 miles from where he lived.
When he got to heaven, he asked God why he hadn't saved him! God looked at him with disgust and said "I gave you a chance to get out of there, a boat, a helicopter, and a life vest, what more did you want?!?"

She was ill, he was responsible for her well being and she died. He's a piece of shit and deserves worse than jail time.

Why doesn't god just fix shit directly instead of fucking about? Does it amuse him to watch his children suffer and die?
That's just an excuse for god's absence.

Just to support this, think about the bible. 3000 years ago, God was turning women into pillars of salt and burning entire cities to the ground at a whim. He was creating prophets and speaking to people and giving them incredible fortune. And yet, for at least 1000 years, God has been no where. He has not been killing terrorists or avenging murders, he's done absolutely nothing for no one.
I still see, no facts that God doesn't exist, what so ever. While here I have a book, that has personal accounts that he does. What personal accounts of god not existing do you have?
It's physically impossible to prove a negative. WE do not have to prove that he DOES NOT exist, YOU have to prove that he DOES.
For example, can you completely, beyond a shadow of a doubt prove that somewhere in the universe there is a flying monster made entirely of spaghetti?
[editline]03:20AM[/editline]
Yes, but as I've got evidence that god exists in the accounts of thousands of men and women. I've given proof, now prove me wrong.
That's not proof, it's heresay. You would be surprised at the combined amount of retards/nutcases out there.
This guy would make a great attorney.
And yet more proof that christ is the worst thing to happen to mankind...
Grow up idiots. Jesus never existed, christ never existed, god never existed, the bible is a fictional book of complete bullshit [and possibly the only book i'll NEVER read]
People who believe in God need to grow the fuck up. There is no God.
I fucking hate hardcore religious people, it makes me lose faith in humanity.
