I don't think it's likely they'll go into all-out war but things are certainly more serious than they've been
South Korea is preparing their hatcherys as we speak. North Korea will not be prepared for a zerg rush.

They'd bully their way into some sort of deal to shut up for a year, where they get a lot of foreign aid from the US and South. Then they repeat.
