Just heard this explosion was not caused by a blowout like the BP rig. Nor is this a free floating rig, so it will not sink like the BP rig. The reported slick is also gone. The company say's no oil is leaking.
The reason why the BP well leaked is because the rig sank and severed the riser. If this rig does not sink, there is no reason for it to leak like the BP rig. We can only hope that the crew shut down operations before they abandoned ship, Which the company says they did.
Yay! I'm glad that all of the workers got out, too. I am extremely glad that my tasty Louisiana seafood is okay....as mean as that sounds. :v:

How about she sends the message somewhere else. Louisiana gets it.
Blame America! Blame America! I am seeing shit coming out of peoples mouths left and right.
Ugh, this is why we need to switch to nuclear.

Sure, cause when such power plant explodes (let's name it Uranium Horizon), there will be no one to complain. :v:
It never exploded. It was a simple fire which was put out. The rig is still up and no oil is leaking.

Only a single nuclear power plant has exploded ever. And it was a shitty Soviet model where they ignored the safety protocols and stress tested the thing. Of course shit will go wrong when that happens.
Wow, our generation is so fucked. We are really just graduating from school into a shitty mess.
dejavu?
It never exploded, it's just a fire. Nothing is leaking and everything is okay.

You don't know how nuclear power works, do you.
